A couple of hours had gone by as Connor still sat by the still recovering Amazon warrior side; he just sat there with his hands laying upon his lap alas both Kate and Mia had quickly noticed how Connor hadn't asked for any food or water in fact he didn't even look remotely tired at all

Krypto had refused to leave his best friend's side as the super-powered dog laid on the ground with a bowl of water in front of him; Connor reached out and petted Krypto on the head as the super-powered dog looked and wagged his tail a bit

Connor knew that the second that Donna would wake up she'd probably be on guard after what he did to her and Connor couldn't blame her for thinking like that; the clone of steel gets up from his chair and looks at Donna more time and talks low enough for the archers to faint hear

"I'm sorry..im so sorry, Donna..I should've been more careful; I don't know if you can hear me or not but I hope you can forgive me.."

Connor could've sworn he saw Donna's hand slightly twitch as he runs his hands through his hair and turns his attention back to the archers

"You want answers and I can give them to you as best as I can but right now need some air.."

Before either of them can say anything, Connor walks past them and into the elevator as Krypto follows Connor into the elevator as both Mia and Kate share a look knowing that Connor needs sometime for himself

Connor stands on a rooftop overlooking Star City as he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath; he focuses on everything around him..every scent, sound and even the smallest things touching his skin as he just soaks it all in like a sponge

He could hear what everyone around him from Star City to all the way to Metropolis were saying; their savior was gone..Superman was gone and without him the world would never be the same, the hope that the Man of Steel had brought into the world was extraordinary

The greatest hero to ever walk the face of the Earth had given his life for humanity and in return all they could wonder was if anyone else would step up for them; who would their savior..who would be their Superman now

Connor opens his eyes as he feels Krypto nudge his left leg as he looks down at his best friend and kneels down; Connor scratches Krypto's left ear as the superdog sticks his tongue out and wags his tail back and forth

"Your probably the one friend who understands what im going through buddy"

Krypto whines seeing Connor frown as he lays his head against his right shoulder alas Connor's super hearing picks up on some screaming in Star City as he immediately gets up and sees a large puff of smoke in the sky; a voice in Connor's head called out to him except it wasn't like the one when he had fought Donna

Go..they need you..save them, Connor..

And without even looking back, Connor immediately took off as he ran at super speed appearing like a blur to the human eye as the entire world stood still just for him; all in a matter of seconds he was at the source of the large puffs of smoke in the sky

Connor could see the firefighters trying their best to put the fire out but it had grown beyond their capabilities; but he could also hear some heartbeats inside of the collapsing and burning building, Connor ran faster than ever before as he ran up every crumbling floor and got everyone who was either trapped or lost in the building out of there
