They were losing..despite their best efforts this newly formed trinity of superheroes were losing against the ancient kryptonian deformity known as Doomsday; the abominable creature had gained the upper hand against the heroes

Wonder Woman is kicked back by Doomsday as her sword leaves her hand, she heard the unrelenting creature charging at her as the Amazon warrior grabs her and cuts Doomsday's left hand clean off; the rage in Doomsday's eyes grow as he angrily growls at Wonder Woman and blasts her away with it's heat vision as she quickly puts her bracelets up blocks the intense beam of heat

The built up energy surging through Doomsday's body slowly begins to regrow his cut off arm into a sharp and daggered claw; yet somewhere off in the battlefield Superman looks on ahead as he turns and faces the love of his life and softly tells her

Superman:I love you..

Lois cups his face and looks back at Doomsday growing in energy once again as she realizes what he is about to do and quickly faces him and begs him with tears threatening to fall from his eyes

Lois:No Clark..you can't..

But the Man of Steel had already made up his mind, he knew what had to be done for the greater good of humanity

Superman:This is my world..*looks at Lois* you are my world..

Lois begs him to stay but Superman runs ahead and picks up the kryptonite spear and starts to hover off the ground, he could feel the glowing gem weaken him..it felt like he was burned alive from the inside but still he kept on going

Wonder Woman wraps her golden lasso around Doomsday and tries to hold him in place as the creature prepares itself to release all of the energy it had gathered up but alas it is struck by a green gas canister covering it's face shot from a grenade launcher by none other than Batman himself, Doomsday coughs out feeling the built up energy slow

Superman grips the metal spear tightly as he flies faster as he possibly can and drives the kryptonite spear into Doomsday's heart

Doomsday roars out in pain as electricity crackles through the air as it uses the bone claw and impales Superman right in the heart as the Man of Steel feels the bone claw bury itself into his chest, but even in the face of death itself he pressed on

Superman grabs Doomsday and only drives the bone claw deeper into himself as he pushes the kryptonite spear even further into Doomsday; if he was going to die then he was going to take this ugly son of a bitch right down with him
