"THE LONELY RODE"

I walked alone down a lonely road,
Where shadows lurked and the cold winds blowed.
A path that led me to a world unknown,
Where I was a stranger, lost and alone.

In the distance, I could hear a voice,
A call for help that left me with no choice.
I ran towards it, hoping to find,
A friend in need, who was left behind.

I found him lying on the ground,
Broken and bruised, with no one around.

I held him close, and whispered in her ear,
That I was there, and he had nothing to fear.
For days and nights, I stayed by his side,
Nursing his wounds, and healing his pride.

I shared his laughter, and wiped her tears,
I gave him hope, and conquered his fears.

We walked together, down that lonely road,
With faith and love, our only abode.

He thanked me for being there when he needed me most,
And promised to return the favor, like a gracious host.

But life is fickle, and fate is cruel,
It tests us all, and makes us a fool.

One day, I stumbled and fell,
Into a dark abyss, a bottomless well.
I called for help, but no one heard,
I cried for mercy, but no one stirred.

I was alone, in the depths of despair,
With no one to lean on, and no one to care.

I thought of him, my friend in need,
The one I saved, with a selfless deed.
But he was gone, lost in the mist,
Leaving me alone, with a clenched fist.

I looked around, and saw a void,
A vast emptiness, that left me annoyed.
I wondered why, life was so unfair,
Why no one was there, to show they care?

But then I realized, in a moment of truth,
That life is a journey, with highs and lows to soothe.
That I had to be strong, and stand on my own,
To find my way, in the great unknown.

So I picked myself up, and dusted off the dirt,
And started walking, with a steady gait and a firm heart.
For I knew, that I was never alone,
That I had myself, and a spirit to hone.
And as I walked, down that lonely road,
I saw a glimmer, of hope untold.

A light that shone, in the darkness of night,
Guiding me home, to a place so bright.

And I knew, that I had come full circle,
From being a giver, to a receiver so humble.

For life is a gift, that we must cherish,
And love is a bond, that we must nourish.
So I walked on, with a spring in my step,
Knowing that I was alive, and not just a speck.

For I had learnt, the lesson so dear,
That to be there for others, is to conquer our fear.
And that in the end, it all comes down,
To the love we give, and the love we found.

For no one is perfect, and we all make mistakes,
But to be there for each other, is what it takes.
So let us walk, down that lonely road,
With hearts so pure, and souls so bold.

For life is a journey, that we must embrace,
And love is a treasure, that we must chase.
And let us remember, the ones we met,
The ones we loved, and the ones we left.

For they are a part, of our story so grand,
And a reminder, of the power of hand in hand.

So let us be there, for each other,
In the highs and lows, and the seasons of weather.
