It was now 20 minutes till dinner and Princess Catherine's ladies were making sure she looked her best, every inch the future Queen that she would one day become.

"Do you think that the Blue is suitable for this evening?" Catherine asked her ladies as she stood in front of the looking glass at her own reflection.

"Oh, of course Infanta, you'll be the most beautiful woman around and they'll feel honored to be in your presence and they'll be even more honored with the knowledge that you'll be their future Queen." Lina responded in an effort to finish getting the Princess ready for dinner.

"Lina Rosa, might I ask you both something?"

"Of course Infanta" they both responded

"Well, how do you know if you made the right choice? Arthur is such a good man but he doesn't excite something in me in the way that Harry does. Ugh I sound like such an awful person. Harry wrote love letters to me while I was still in Spain for over a year! Arthur never did that."

"Infanta maybe he had difficulty and couldn't find the right words?" Rosa suggested

"No, I don't believe that he cared because if Arthur truly did care for me then he would've written to me in the very beginning and I wouldn't have poured my heart out to his brother and....." there was a long pause in Catherine's  voice as she struggled to find the words and have the courage to admit how she truly felt, not about her husband Arthur, but about his brother Harry instead. As both Lina and Rosa saw the young Princess' proud facade begin to shrink they gave each other a nod and they knew that their proud princess needed them right now. So Lina took the lead holding heer hand and her shoulder as Rosa did the same taking cues from Lina of what to do. Catherine still stood, her  head now droopped in front of the looking glass. Lina knew whatever words she said had to be impactful so she tried her best and hoped it would work.

"Infanta, you are a daughter of Spain, the richest nation around. Prince Arthur is a good man and I can see that he does care for you. Give it time your parents didn't unite all of Spain into one whole sovereign nation overnight, it took time to grow, just like any marriage." After hearing Lina'a words Catherine rose her head to get a better look of herself in the looking glass. And said

"I understand Lina, but how do I make these feelings of desire for another man just go away like that?" This time Rosa beat Lina with an answer

"Infanta, God gives us many challenges in life to see how strong we are this's your challenge. After Rosa's speech Lina stepped in to add just another layer of comfort to the young princess in distress

"And we are both always going to be here for you, no matter what." Seeing Catherine beginning to come around Rosa decided to say one more thing

"We are the three Spanish girls after all, right?" This made the room fall into a burst of laughter all without realizing someone had come into the young Princess' chambers unannounced. He cleared his throat to gain the three women's attention. After that they all went to see where the disturbance came from, it was Catherine's husband Arthur awkwardly standing there in the doorway not wanting to interrupt. Lina and Rosa moved to stand off to the side and courtesy and bow their heads to the young prince.

"Are you almost ready to depart for dinner?"

"No, I don't think I'm quite ready yet. Why what's for the rush Arthur?"Arthur's eyes moved from her to the wall so he could compose his thoughts to her.

"My father has told me that we must be a little early for dinner tonight to not miss anything. He said he had an important announcement to make." Catherine's eyes made everyone in the room well aware of her uneasiness and uncertainty in regards to the statement just usher by her husband. She walked away from the looking glass till she was right in front of her husband.

"Announcement? What announcement? What is so important that your father must tell us all in front of the entire court and not in private as a family? Do you know what he wishes to tell us?" she asked. Arthur was just as clueless as his wife but he didn't have as many questions quite frankly he didn't have any. He was just waiting to hear the news that his father wished to share with the rest of the court at dinner. He knew it wasn't that far along and if it was anything bad his father would've told him already, so he saw no need to worry unlike his wife who was interrogating him into a tailspin asking one question after the other before he could even respond to the first one.

"No I don't know what my father wishes to tell everyone tonight but, what I do know is that we should hurry up so that we're not late and get the wrath from my Lady Grandmother." Catherine just shook her head in defeat, her husband couldn't even give her good information, how would she know if she wasn't walking into a trap tonight at the so-called dinner? And how would she know of how she should respond if she wasn't made aware of this announcement before the rest of the nobodies who made themselves accustomed to the ways of the English court. It was downright disrespectful after all she was the Infanta, the daughter of Queen Isabella de Castille and King Fernando de Aragon, The Princess of Wales, the Spanish Princess and their future Queen. These people should be begging and feel blessed to even be in her presence, but,to Catherine it felt like none of them did. She soon composed herself, having Rosa put the final touches on her hair. Then pointing to her crown and her laddies placing it on her head so that everyone who might've forgotten would soon remember who held their futures soon tightly in the palm of her hand
