“mabuti naman naisipan mo ng bumalik ng Pilipinas. I thought ikukulong mo na lang ang sarili mo sa new York eh”

Papunta na kami ngayon sa condo unit namin. Yes ‘NAMIN’ nagkasundo kasi kami na magsama together.

Never ko inimagine na makasama si Madison sa iisang bubong years ago but it all changed when she went to New York para lang ipamuka sa akin yung nagawa ko.

“ginawa mo namang kulungan ang new York, maddy. New York is a nice place to live with”

“yeah, maganda nga manirahan sa New York but not in your case!because technically, it is a prison to you.  Like duh??? Saksi lang naman kaya ako sa kagagahan mo seven years ago and all those years I know how it affects you so much”

“haha how rude maddy, kagagahan talaga? you know what maddy, kagagahan yung ginawa ko sa side ko pero in your side…it’s called opportunity. Why didn’t you grab that opportunity?”

“tsk! You want me to grab that damn opportunity? I’m not a dumbass Leanne! You are giving me my dream man oh!lemme correct that…my BROKEN dream man years ago. Hindi ako tanga para saluhin ang isang katulad niya, ayokong maging panakip butas and I’m sure na kahit anong gawin ko I can’t make him whole again”

I smile bitterly sa sinabi niya. Tama nga naman siya, pilit kong ibinibigay sa kanya ang isang broken man seven years ago but she refused it. Naalala ko tuloy yung sinabi niya 5 mos. after kong umalis noon at nagpunta sa new York.

She went there hindi para damayan ako kundi ipamukha kung gaano ako kasama.

“ano siya gamit?! Na after mong pagsawaan ibibigay mo na lang sa iba!? My God Leanne!!! You want me to heal his broken heart!? Why do I need to do that stupidity if in the first place you’ve caused it!”

Yung ang kauna-unahang pagtawag niya sa akin gamit ang firstname ko without anything and that starts our friendship.

Nakilala ko ang other side niya which is very different from the Madison we knew.

“and I should thank you for not grabbing that opportunity.”

“why do I smell something fishy here…why are you thanking me for not grabbing that so-called ‘opportunity’?”

“because I want to be the person that will make him whole again”

“goodluck then, sa pagkakaalam ko kasi marami na ang umupo sa dati mong pwesto and who knows baka isa na sa mga yun ang nakabuo ulit sa kanya.”

“what?”

“don’t tell me hindi mo alam na yung super-caring, super-loving and your super-sweet Boyfriend oops! Ex-boyfriend pala ay isang well-known ‘COLD-HEARTLESS PLAYBOY’ of the town”
