I've written some good poems
And some that are bad.
Poems that are happy.
Others that are sad.
I've written of life
Also, about love.
Hell on earth
And Heaven above.
I've written of holidays,
Times of good cheer,
And some of those days
That now bring a tear.
I've written about peace
And also, of war.
I've penned about good folks
And those rotten to the core.
I've written of lilies
And columbines, too.
The beauty of roses.
More than a few.
I've written poems
About a crisp fall day
And the joy I've felt
Watching squirrels play.
I've written short poems
And those that are long.
Those with rhythm and rhyme
And can be sung as a song.
I am that poet
In each one and all.
Those heartfelt words wafting down
Like the golden leaves of fall.

Stories and Poems Written from the Garden
PoetryA friend of mine suggested that instead of organizing what I write chronologically that I do so by topic. This book contains short stories and poems written from the garden.
