You yawned as you woke up, the glow of the sun gleaming through the slight opening from your curtain.

"Y/n! Wake up. It's past 10," your mom called from downstairs.

You rolled your eyes. You were 18 years old and had finished school last year. Couldn't you enjoy your gap year?

"I'm up, I'm up!" you squealed as you rambled to your feet, falling due to the blankets being wrapped around your feet.

"Great," you muttered.

You wanted to move out of your parent's house so badly, but they wouldn't let you go, not until you were 'fully equipped'.

One more year.

One more year, you thought while combing through the knots of your hair.

After getting dressed, you sat at the kitchen table, munching on your toast.

"Y/n, I'm going to go to work, please look after yourself. Make sure the doors are locked," your mom warned before she patted your head and pulled on her coat.

"Mom, I'm 18, not 8," you retorted, tired of her treating you like a kid.

"Sweety, I know but you got to be safe. It's that time of the year again."

You knew exactly what she was talking about. Halloween was in three days, but you never believed that shit about the boogeyman, as there were never any cases since the time you moved here, which was five years ago.

She threw you kisses before locking the door. "Thank God," you exhaled a breath and reached for your phone seeing a message from your friend, Caitlyn.

We got to watch Halloween end, dude! I heard Michael Myers died.

Your eyes widened in shock. What?! No!

"Fricken director!" you cursed as you sent her a few shocked emojis.

You then tapped harder on your screen.

Come over, my mom's gone to work.

You waited for a few minutes for her reply, sipping on some orange juice as you knew she was such a slow typer.

Your mind couldn't help but wander back to Michael. People would have thought you were crazy if you told them, that deep down, you felt like Michael Myers was hot. Yes, he gave off big dick energy and you couldn't help but shiver at the thought of him being real.

If he was real, deep down you knew he would kill you. If he could kill his sister, what say for you? No. It had to stay a fantasy. Your fantasy.

You couldn't stop yourself from imagining his hands all over you, pleasing you in ways that boys never pleased you. You imagined touching his mask, feeling his chest, and then the hard muscles which were hidden underneath that jumpsuit. Sure he would be old, but hell did you have daddy issues, and you enjoyed fantasizing about him? Dragging your fingers along his neck, kissing those big arms that would never kill you but will kill for you and...

I'll be there with the movie. Make sure you have popcorn seeds and some cool drinks! I can't wait to watch this motherfucker!

She had messaged you at the wrong time.

You smiled. Oh, I have popcorn seeds alright.

She swore a lot. It was like her second language, but thank God she controlled herself around you. You had difficulty with keeping your tongue under wraps too, but you tried and you had succeeded...well, in most cases to be frank.

One person that had always gotten on your nerves was Nick. Damn, that boy was a pain in the ass. The only thing he ever wanted from you was a good time, and you were more intelligent than all the other girls who gladly opened their legs for him. He was a player and you knew this too darn well.

Oh, and don't get me started on the 'pick me up girl who thought she was the prettiest girl in the entire world and she thought that she could steal your boyfriend, fuck your dad, and maybe even your grandfather (wink, wink) Her voice annoyed you the most and you felt like punching her in the face several times but you kept your cool.

Too much anxiety, depression, and stress exhausted you. You were tired, shook off the feeling, and got ready to spend the day with Caitlyn.
