SIXTEEN

You sighed and stared at the ring in the box. You admired the gorgeous gems that adorned the simple band, then you set it back on your dresser.

"So," you said. "Did you pick them?"

Deku nodded. "One boy and two girls, just like you said."

You grinned. "Great! Four people should be a good start, then we can add more, hopefully, every week."

"Yeah," Deku muttered.

"Bring them out!" You exclaimed to the prison staff. The sound of multiple cell doors opening echoed through the silent prison. Three people walked into the open room. The first person had long, blonde hair that covered his eyes. He was wearing a straight jacket.

'Katsuki Bakugo,' you thought. 'With an explosion quirk. Isn't this a bit much, though?'

Then, two girls trailed behind him. Both wore large handcuffs with some sort of metal box covering their hands.

'Ochako Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui,' you thought. 'One can make things weightless and the other has frog-like abilities.'

"Guys," Deku said.

"I can't believe I agreed to this bullshit," Bakugo grumbled.

"Is this necessary?" You said, gesturing to the straight jacket and their cuffs.

"Yes ma'am," the guard said. "My orders were to not take it off until you safely enter the rehabilitation facility."

"That's bullshit," you said. "Who gave you these orders? These kids shouldn't be treated like animals."

"Uh," he paused. "They come straight from the top, miss."

You sighed.

"It's fine," Ochako said. "A little longer in these things won't hurt."

"Ribbit," Tsu said.

You smiled sadly. "Alright. Please, allow me to formally introduce myself. My name is ____, and you'll be under my care for today. I'm the creator of the facility where you will be sent to."

"Why'd you do it?" Katsuki said. "Why do you want us free?"

"You're just kids," you said, shaking your head. "You don't deserve this."

"And that crusty bastard actually agreed to let us go?"

"I'm very persuasive," you said with a smile. "Now, please follow me?"

"To where?" Katsuki said.

"Outside, of course," you said. "How else are we gonna get there, Bakugo?"

"Outside," Ochako said.

"How the hell do you know my name?!" Bakugo exclaimed.

"Calm down!" The guard exclaimed.

"It's fine," you said. "I know all of your names. I've done my research."

"Sounds creepy," Bakugo said.

"Yup," you chuckled. "Now, let's go."
