Everything was blurry. However, Dylan could recognize the house with the white sedan, blue fences, various plants hanging on the terrace, and two dog houses. A man was playing catch a ball with a boy and a dog, while a woman was rubbing another dog on the terrace. Suddenly, they all stopped their activities and stared at Dylan. The man then said, "You should be ashamed to be here,". Feeling instantly uncomfortable, Dylan immediately left.

As he walked even further, he crossed paths with more people; they all muttered the same thing. It made him quicken his pace, at the same time he stared only at the road below him. Sometimes some people suddenly blocked his path, pushed him, or even threw something at him. But he kept his eyes fixated on the road and attempted to push them back, or simply walked even faster. He knew he was dreaming, and he knew exactly what moment he was reliving. Realizing pinching his cheek and bumping his head did not wake him up, he decided to keep moving until he naturally woke up. However, all of a sudden a familiar voice called him. Turning around, he saw a woman standing in front of the fence of a house. The house was none other than his second orphanage, and the woman was none other than Sophia Johnson.

Dylan approached Sophia. That moment, in the blink of an eye, a lot of people already surrounded him and Sophia. They cursed any unpleasant words against him, attempted to push him down, and threw random objects at him. He bowed down and locked his fingers behind his head, protecting it even though he knew it was just a dream. Upon reaching Sophia, the woman quickly blanketed him over his head with a brown coat. She then threw her arm around his neck, and she helped him walk towards the house. When they were finally inside, Sophia said, "You can wake up now."

Dylan raised his head. At that moment, Sophia was no longer with him. After glancing at the left and right, he started fluttering his eyes. Before long, he was already staring at a white round object across him.

Turns out Dylan had drifted away to sleep without turning off the lamp. Checking his phone, it was already 5.43 A.M. He sighed as he placed back the phone at his right. The burden he carried when he first moved to Carlasco had just resurfaced again.

Dylan decided to take some more sleep. But the dream lingered in his head, it made him wake up half an hour later. Feeling lightheaded, the very thing that soon came to his mind was a cup of coffee. He went to the dining room, where Athena was already sitting there.

"I know you might be late for work," Athena said. "But I can sense you're in a deep sleep. Hence I decided not to wake you up."

"Don't worry, I've switched shifts with Michael, my coworker," Dylan said as he started preparing the coffee. "That means I'll be working on Friday."

"I see."

"I'll prepare breakfast now."

While spreading the strawberry jam to the bread, Dylan heard a strange sound behind him. Turning around, he was surprised upon seeing a green door frame similar to Hephaestus', the area inside the frame displayed a distorted version of a womanly figure. Athena swiftly summoned her sword and aimed it at the door. Unexpectedly laughing, the woman said, "As expected from Athena, the mighty goddess of wisdom and battle strategy."

Dylan recognized the voice. When the distorted version finally turned smooth, his guess was proved right. The womanly figure was none other than Medusa.

"I'm here definitely not to fight you," Medusa said as she stepped into Dylan's room. She was holding a pizza box that wafted a tempting smell. "Besides, I haven't found any greater power. If I recklessly try to kill you, then I'm as good as dead."
