"We must gaslight, gatekeep and girlboss them! We cannot lose Shawn to the Shadow Realm!" Crystal cried out to the others.
The curse on Shawn was much too powerful for them, even the ritual was failing. Shawn pleaded with their friends.
"Guys, please, it's real I swear! I'm not crazy!"
"IT'S NOT REAL, SHAWN! ARE YOU HEARING YOURSELF RIGHT NOW!?"
Mikey soon realized that simply shouting won't get the message through, so he grabbed Shawn by the shoulders.
"Shawn. Listen to me, they're making you believe in it. You can't let them do that!"
The group continued to chant "Ohio isn't real" around them.
"You must resist them, Shawn! Resist!"
Shawn couldn't resist. They've now been fully brainwashed. The ritual failed. But the Deniers refused to give up on their friend.
