I told him everything, from the moment we met till this very day. He just listened.

“And here we are…”

He embraced me into a hug while I just wept in his shoulder. He rubbed circles on my back to sooth me and I felt safe. I needed this, someone to talk to. Don’t get me wrong, Naomi has always been there for me and I can tell her anything, but it’s much easier when the person doesn’t know you as well. I knew that whatever I told him he wouldn’t judge me at all.

After I stopped crying I broke away from the hug and Jake wiped the tears off my face.

“I’ll be your husband”

“What? Jake we just met and you’re proposing?” is this seriously happening?

“No silly, tomorrow when you go to get your bag from that scumbag I’ll be your ‘husband’”, he did the cute finger thing when he said husband. That made me smile. I don’t know if this is a good idea though.

“Come on Amy, think about it. Imagine how jealous he will be, the look on his face would be priceless trust me!”

Is this the right thing to do? I don’t know, is it? What if he realises and everything goes wrong? I stared at his deep blue walls as I thought about it.

He suddenly held my face with his warm hands and looked into my blue orbs with his shiny brown ones.

“I promise you it will be worth it Amy”                       

“Ok, let’s do this!”

I can’t believe I’m doing this…

“Jake what if everything goes wrong? What If he doesn’t have that priceless face and he sees right through us?”

“Why wouldn’t he be jealous? Amy your gorgeous he will be more than jealous. He’ll be well jel!”

I felt my cheeks flush and I couldn’t help but laugh at his ridiculous Amy Child’s impression.

Before I knew it he was leaning closer and closer and his face was inches away from mine. Wait, was he going to kiss me? My breath was rapidly increasing. OMG he was about to kiss me…

“WAAAAAAAAAAA’ Edwards awake!

We jerked away from each other and my breath slowed down. Did that just happen? I awkwardly scrambled around for my baby monitor.

“Here it is” Jake handed over the monitor and then was a moment of awkwardness. I took it and was heading my way out.

“Wait, Amy that meant nothing. We are just friends right?” a sense of relief brushed through me. phew! Jake is really good looking but I don’t think I could really kiss him, I think its better we are just friends.

“Yes yes we are just friends thank god” I let that out a bit too quick. Oops.

“Woaw slow down’ my lips are not that bad!”

“Yeah but…”

“Don’t worry; you’re more like a sister.”

“Excuse me I’m not that old!”

“A younger one! Wait, aren’t you forgetting something? Your baby is crying! Haha I’m coming to help, I’ve got to practise being a ‘dad’!”

(Next day)

Harry’s POV 

It was bad enough having to see her yesterday but she had to leave her stupid bag!

“Hi Haz, I made some toast for you” Louis came over with a red breakfast tray with burnt toast and some orange juice.

“This toast is bloody burnt!”

“Ok diva, what’s crawled up your pants?”

“Why do you have to be soo annoying? Can’t you just leave me alone?” I know I’m being snappy but I’m just angry. Louis took a seat next to me on my very squidgy bed.

“Right, which girl is this about now?” This is what I love about Louis; he knows exactly what’s wrong. Anybody else would just get pissed off and leave me alone, but not him. This is why he is my best friend!

“She’s married Lou, she has a husband!”

“Who is getting married? I’m confused”

“Amy, Amelia from yesterday is Amy”

It took him a few seconds to process what I was talking about and then his face formed a perfect ‘o’ shape.

“I can’t believe that was her! No wonder she refused to come on stage. Wait, Harry did you not recognise her?”

“I feel so bad but I seriously didn’t, I can’t believe I didn’t realise! But in my defence she looks a bit different, I knew she was familiar but just couldn’t grasp it was her. When her sister mentioned her name it hit me and I felt like such a d***!”

“Don’t call yourself that silly! It wasn’t your fault, kind of”

“Thanks…I think. I’m just nervous because it was hard enough seeing her yesterday and she HAD to leave her bag and now she is coming today to get it.”

“Yeah I heard that girl left her bag, anyway Haz don’t get worked about it. Come on, let’s just get this over and done with, just do this and you never have to see her again!”

“That’s what I thought last time…”
