I'm not one to force myself on anyone
And I care too much for you

Though it hurts, I still feel lucky
To be able to see your beautiful face
Loving someone this way can be tricky

And of my wish to be with you
I'd open my heart, bright and blue
To let you hear the melody it sings

For you, I'd break my heart to pieces
I'd make me cry for days
Accepting that our two faces
Won't cross ways

I'd come to the you that lives in my head
To have a kiss and slow dance
Before letting you go and kill any chance
Of waking up to you in my bed
