I would rather devour the Earth
Than get swallowed by it
They're selling you abnegation since birth
This sacrfice for applause, I don't buy it

In the face of adversity
I'm gonna take what's mine or what I need
Despite all the talks in the city
Free from the pity of those on which we feed
.
Praise the living but kill for your sake
Death and life entertwined
You get used, you give birth to your guilt or you take
Which road will free you from the thoughts that bind ?

Your most precious belonging
Is but a savory meal to a stranger's fangs
Ain't no use to all the crying and begging
There's a hunger unfulfilled that growls and hangs
