He was shaking while grabbing onto his head, tears rolled down his face, and blackness dripped from his mouth

"Billy, Billy, it's me." Eleven tried speaking to him inside his mind, but he couldn't hear her, or maybe he didn't want to

Max was by her side. She was the one who told El that Billy wasn't acting right, "What's happening? Is he okay?"

"There's black." Eleven spoke quietly, "What do you mean? Where?" Max asked."It's dripping, from his mouth..and, and he's scared."

Will was also there, Max thought he could understand, "From his mouth?" He asked, and El nodded.

For a while, Billy stayed sitting on the end of his bed, gripping his head and ignoring his tears, his runny nose, and what was dripping from his mouth

"He's coughing." El said as soon as he started, "Did anything come out?" Will questioned

Eleven breathed in, raising her chest, "Yes." Max moved closer, "What was it?"

Billy flinched as he saw the dark creature squirm on the ground. This made Eleven winces, too.

He quickly smashed it by stepping on it with his boot, El pulled the cloth around her eyes down, "He left."

"Do you think, Vecna... might still be in him?" Will asked, "Is that even possible?" Max replied, "He might be, hopefully not." Eleven said

"When is Steve getting back there?" Will shrugged, Max would go there if she could, but she had a doctor's visit

There was a knock on El's door, then Joyce, "Oh, sorry to interrupt, but Max, your mom is here," she smiled.

Max smiled back, "Thanks." Joyce then left, and Max looked at El

"Do you think you could check on him? You know if anything doesn't feel right?"

Eleven held Max's hands and nodded, "Of course." Max hugged her, "Thank you, bye, Will." She waved as she left

Eleven looked at Will, "I think it is possible..that Vecna is still here." Will's eyes widen, "You do?"

"Yes, but that doesn't mean I can't fight him." Will stood up from where they were sitting, "You mean "we."

Hours passed, and Steve had found Billy pacing back and forth in his bedroom, Steve had been trying to calm him down, but it wasn't working

He picked up Billy's Walkman and headphones, "Hey, look if you just -" Steve started to hand him the Walkman

Billy quickly grabbed and held it up, "This doesn't work! It hasn't helped!" He yelled, then threw it down on the bed.

Steve looked down to make sure it didn't break, "It's just bullshit! Everything right now is just bullshit!" Billy continued

"Everything?" Steve asked so quietly Billy didn't hear, only turned away covering his face.

"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦?"

"𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵."

Steve could only think back to when he knew his first love no longer loved him anymore

All this time, he felt it was his fault, that he wasn't good enough for her, and now it's happening again.
