"Oh, come on, you stupid thing!" Will was trying to get a book down from a high shelf that he couldn't reach

He lifted his feet off the air and hit the book to where it was on the edge of the shelf, "Ha."

Will tried jumping again to grab it, but instead, the book came down, Will ducked, flinching his eyes closed.

The book didn't hit the ground and make a thud, nor did it land on top of Will's head

He slowly opened his eyes, looking down at the ground first for the book, then opened his eyes. That's when he saw the book floating in the air

He jumped back, losing his focus on the book. It quickly fell to the ground, making a loud noise.

"Everything alright here?" Jonathan asked, checking in through the door, Will quickly turned

"Yeah! Yeah, my book just fell.."

"Alright, maybe put it on a lower shelf next time." Jonathan smiled at him, and Will returned it.

Billy slides his hood off, "It's too hot to be wearing a hoodie." He complained

Steve took Billy down each aisle in the store, looking for the gift he wanted to give to him

As Billy looked down and twirled the strings on his hoodie around his finger, Steve saw what he was looking for.

"Hey, come on!" Steve said, wrapping his arm around Billy's waist and pulling him to the next aisle

"Woah." Billy pushed Steve's hands off and looked around, "We're in public Harrington, chill out."

Instead of getting annoyed, Steve could only smile, "It's empty in here, don't worry."

Billy looked around, "Whatever.." He grinned, "What is it that you wanted to get me anyway?"

Steve looked behind him at the few walkmans lined against each other on the shelves

"Here look." He grabbed onto Billy's hand, pulling him, "Walkmans?" Billy asked, looking at Steve

"Yeah, I think they'll help you." Billy picked up one of the boxes and smirked, "Still getting it for me, Harrington?"

Billy was showing him the price, Steve looked, making his chest tighten,
"Sure am.." Billy threw his head
back and laughed.

Steve couldn't help himself any longer. He checked around before grabbing ahold of Billy and kissing him

Billy's eyes stayed open while he put the box on its shelf, followed by putting his arms on Steve's shoulders

They broke apart from each other, having their breaths bounce off one another, Billy pushed off of Steve smiling.

"What's with you today, Harrington?" Steve shrugged when Billy asked. He grabbed the box back from the shelf

"Come on, Hargrove, you're glad I got paid yesterday." Billy laid his head on Steve's shoulder, "Lucky me."

The two had gotten home, and Steve went to find headphones in the storage closet upstairs

Billy placed the Walkman down in front of him on the coffee table. He tapped his foot as we waited for Steve

Then the phone rang, and Billy directed his attention towards it. For some reason, he felt like Steve was going to come down and answer it like always.

The phone continued to ring, and Billy continued to wait, something was stopping him from answering it

The ringing of the phone ended, 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘪𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯. There it was, the phone rang a second time.
