I got dressed and drove out to the mailboxes. Kia was standing there looking beautiful.
"Hey good looking" she smiled when I rolled up
"How you doing" I licked my lips and got out the car to open her door for her
"Oh I get this treatment" she smiled
"Sure do" I laughed getting back in. I drove to the restaurant and let her out. We walked in and stood at the hostess counter. She was obviously checking me out.
"Reservation for Tayviona" I smiled
"Right this way" she showed us to her seat
"She was eyeing you" Kia laughed
"Yeah but it's grimy for me to address it on a date" I smirked "now if this flops on the other hand"
"Hey" she play hit me
"I'm playing, so what's up with you" I asked
"I'm Kia. I'm 24. I work at a campus bookstore. I just graduated. I'm still looking for work related to my degree but that is proving to be a pain"
"Heard" I nodded
"Anything else" She laughed
"We'll figure it out as we go" I laughed "well I'm Tay. You heard my real name. I'm 23 so you a bit older than me. I didn't finish college when I first went so I went back. My major is leadership. Have no idea what to do with that but I'm currently a para"
"You like kids" she asked
"Nah but it's pay" I chuckled
The waiter came and took our order and soon our food had arrived.
"You take all your dates here" she asked
"Nah I gotta switch it up" I laughed
"Don't want them thinking you a hoe" she laughed
"Exactly you get it" I smiled
"Well that's how I found out my ex was cheating on me. Took me to a restaurant she had took her little hoe"
"That's tough yo" I shook my head
"Cheaters always get what's coming eventually" she sipped her lemonade
"Yeah" I chuckled and sipped my tea.
Cheaters always get what's coming eventually. Those words stung. It's like she knows what I'm doing. I ignored the feelings of guilt and swallowed it down with my drink.
"This food is bomb" she smiled
"Yeah they be throwing down" I smiled
"You be hitting them up often" she asked
"Indeed" I slurped some pasta up
"You slurp juices like that" she smirked
"Maybe you'll find out" I smirked
"You a touch me not" she asked
"Depends you a pillow Princess" I asked
"I carry my weight in the bedroom long as you let me" she swirled her straw around with her tongue
"Heard" I winked
We finished up dinner and I drove home. I put the key in the door and forgot Von may be in here. I opened the door praying she wasn't on this couch playing 2k. The apartment was dark so I assume she went back to moms.
"This place nice" She smiled
"Thanks. Not to sound dorky but my mom helped me set it up" I smiled
"Nah that ain't dorky. It's nice you care about your mom" she smiled
