3rd person's POV

"Class dismissed." the professor announced

"Xiu, I'll just go somewhere. Do you want to go with me or-" Hyunjin

"I can go alone. I also want to walk." Xiu said

Hyunjin felt worried of his sister. He knew something was wrong but he never had the strength to ask her about it.

"I can walk her home." Aziel volunteered

"Okay, you two take care." Hyunjin said and hurriedly left as he don't want to be late

"Let's go." Xiu told Aziel

The two of them left the University and started walking to Xiu's house. Aziel was watching Xiu's every move as he thought he needs to be alerted by what is happening.

Xiu was just playing with her steps like it was some game. She is stepping on every square with one foot and would laugh if she lost her balance.

"Why are you stepping on the square with one foot? You're making it hard for yourself. You could've stepped into any space with whatever you want." Aziel suggested

Xiu stopped playing and looked at Aziel, "Right. I could've cheated because I always have the chance to, but I never did."

He knows that Xiu wasn't just talking about the squares she is playing with. She is also referring to the issue between her and Felix.

But she was right. She always had the chance to cheat with whoever she wants, but Xiu never did out of respect. She could've dated Aziel but rejected him instead.

As they arrived at the house, Xiu saw a familiar woman standing in front of their house. She was waiting patiently for someone to arrive.

She noticed Xiu who just arrived, "Xiu, baby. How are you? You've grown enough."

"Uh..." Aziel doesn't know what to say since Xiu is not responding to the woman "I am Xiu's best friend, Yang Aziel. It was nice meeting you."

"I am her Mom. You can call me Ms. Yuan." she said and smiled at Aziel

"It was nice meeting you. I can leave you two here to talk. Xiu, I'll go home." Aziel said and left with no hesitation

Xiu was still quiet.

"How are you?" Ms. Yuan asked

"I'm doing great. How are you?" Xiu asked politely as she never wanted to disrespect her own Mom

"I'm fine. I didn't know you went here and stayed with your brothers. The maid said that you just left without saying anything, so I assumed you are here with them." Ms. Yuan smiled at her

Xiu's Mom was always at work and never even went home, even in special occasions. She would send money to her and let her do what she wants. Basically, she abandoned her without knowing it.

Xiu smiled and nodded, "Hyunjin and Hyunhoon were taking good care of me. I get along with them. There's nothing to worry about, but I am sure you are not here for that."

"Yes. Actually, I have something to tell you." Ms Yuan said

Meanwhile, Hyunjin parked his car in front of the house and saw a familiar face. He was mad at her but he thought it's useless since she was clueless of whatever happened in the past, also Hyunjin thought of Xiu.

He get out of his car and went to the woman to greet, he bowed and said, "Good afternoon. It was nice seeing you here visit Xiu. You can come inside if you want."

"Hi, Hyunjin. It was nice seeing you too. This won't take long, I also have to leave." Ms. Yuan smiled

Hyunjin nodded at her and glanced at Xiu who is not talking, he whispered to her, "You okay?"

Xiu smiled at him and nodded.

Hyunjin bowed again and went inside.

"I am sorry for leaving you alone with the maid. I just trust her and you so much. I am really sorry about that." Ms. Yuan sincerely said

"It's okay. I understand that you have lots of work to do to make a living and give me what I needed." Xiu smiled as she appreciates what her Mom did for her but she still longs for her care and love

"I don't know if you have an idea why am I here in Korea. I met this man and we have been dating for so long. I wanted you to meet him as soon as possible since we have decided to get married." her Mom said

"Get married? I mean I don't have a problem but... Does he know that you have a child? And do you know anything about his life? What if he is lying to you again? Like what Dad did." Xiu worriedly said

"He doesn't know about you, that's why I wanted you to meet him soon before the wedding. He is a CEO and he has one child. We do talk about life and such, don't worry, I know him." Ms. Yuan chuckled

"A CEO? Mom-" Xiu

"He is the CEO of Diamond Car Company." Ms. Yuan

And those words kept repeating in her mind, like some broken machine. She was suspicious of the person her Mom is dating but she never thought it would made her feel more weird now that she heard it from her own Mom.

"Mom, I... I don't think..." she can't even finish what she was saying as she also wanted her Mom to be happy

"Is something wrong, Xiu?" Ms. Yuan asked

"Nothing is wrong." she faked a smile

But she wanted to tell her the lies that Mr. Lee told about his family. How can he tell her when she looks happy?

He cheated on his wife with Xiu's Mom.
