I'm outside your house. Can we talk? This is about the company.

I don't know if it's right to show up after what he did, but he made it clear. He will talk to me about the company. Is he not going to apologize at least? For what he said back there?

If I only knew that he is not sincere about what he said last night, I wouldn't have believed him. I would've guarded my heart from his flowery words and actions.

And even though I am hurt, I know in myself that I like Felix.

I took my hoodie with me and left the house without making any sound. As I got out, I saw Felix leaning on his car. He was staring at me as if we were in a staring competition.

"What about the company?"

"Actually, the wedding organizer is already in the house earlier and Dad talked to him about the plans. Everything was ready, but don't worry. I told them it was cancelled." Felix

I nodded and smiled, "That's great to know. What about your Father? What did he say?"

"I explained everything to him and told him that I will pay the debt of your Dad under my name. But he said it was fine even if it's under his name. Everything is settled now." Felix said and handed me an envelope

"What is this?"

"The arranged marriage contract." he answered

I opened it and saw the arranged marriage contract that we signed the night we first knew about it. Why is he giving this to me?

"Dad told me that I can burn it or throw it away, but I wanted to give you that first and tell you about what happened. I still respect your decision." Felix

"What decision? I agree with him. You should've threw it away or burned it. It's useless. There is nothing this piece of paper can help me with."

Felix nodded and took the envelope with him, "I'll burn it. Someone might see this and use it for illegal purposes."

I didn't answer.

"The collaboration between your company and mine will still happen, but I'll be the one to attend meetings instead of Dad. How about your company? Are you going to attend or your Dad?" Felix asked casually like nothing happened earlier

"It's Dad."

"I am one of the shareholders in your company. The share I will give this month is not the same as the money I will pay for the debt. I will personally pay it using my savings like I promised in exchange of doing the mission for me." Felix

How can he easily talk to me like nothing happened? Will he continue acting like this? Playing dumb? Please... I needed to know something.

"As for the article that was released yesterday, I will be the one to make a public interview about the wedding. You don't have to do anything and avoid answering questions of the interviewers, or anyone, even my friends and that includes your brothers." Felix

I nodded.

"I guess that's it." he said and opened the door of his car

"You bastard."

He glanced at me.

"How can you talk to me like you did nothing wrong?"

He didn't answer.

"What did I do to deserve this kind of treatment from you? I endured all the disrespectful things you have done. You are making out with others, flirting, and even denying me, when you are fucking engaged to me."

"Xiu, we agreed to date someone else, and you dated Aziel which I never interfered with your decision." Felix

"We never dated! I asked you and informed you a lot of times because I know it's disrespectful not to tell you and will find out the next day. But you! You never thought of respecting me and even my decisions." I said and failed to control my tears as it started rolling down my cheeks

"If this is about what happened earlier, I am sorry." he said and was about to go

"No. This is about last night! What is that kiss for?! What are those words for?! Why did you even acted like you fell for me and you wanted to be with me?! And I will find out the next day that you are making out with another girl? You even said that we don't care about each other? Felix... I held on to your words, your promises, but it seems like you never meant it."

Felix was quiet.

"They were right. It's a mistake if I will fall for you, because like a mistake, I will regret it. I will regret falling for you."

"You don't know the pain-" Felix

"What pain? The pain that your Dad caused? That's not enough reason for you to hurt someone innocent! Not enough reason to play with people, and break their hearts just because you are in pain."

"You know what? Let's forget it. We are not going to be involve with each other anyway. Everything is done now. From now on, let's not talk to each other, or even go near one another." Felix said and turned his back on me

"You're unfair, Felix." my voice broke and started crying as I look at his back "You are unfair."

He didn't respond.

"You love breaking others' heart, when you don't want yours to break."
