The Lightfoot brothers are a lot more puzzling than ever. They have just stared at the homemade blackberry fruit cake. It was baked by the witch of Scotland.

The blue skinny elf was nervous. "I don't know about this, Barley." Ian said.

The blue burly elf was skeptic. Barley take the green plaid box of dessert. He examines the cake carefully. "Ian, I don't know either." Barley said.

The blue skinny elf looks at his elder brother. "What are you doing?" Ian asked.

The blue burly elf smells the cake. Barley was disgusted. Then, he was frowning. "I don't trust the witch of Scotland." Barley answered in his confirming.

The blue skinny elf was bewildered. "I don't understand. The witch helped us get to Mor'du in Scotland." Ian explained.

The blue burly elf shook his head. Then, Barley looked at his youngest brother. "Ian, never eat a homemade cake from the witch. Especially THIS witch in Scotland." Barley declared.

The blue skinny elf shrugs. "But why, Barley? Sure she may be strange and unusual, but why?" Ian wondered.

The blue burly elf walked to Ian's desk. He set the opened green plaid box down on it. "Ian, if this cake doesn't smell like cake, or not even some fruit from the cake, there's a catch in it." Barley believed.

The blue skinny elf was concerned. "Are you saying there's poison in THAT cake?" Ian asks.

The blue burly elf turned around. Barley faced his youngest brother. He was serious. "Ian, I'm saying there's a spell IN the cake." Barley answers.

The blue skinny elf gasps. Ian was unsure about the peculiar things going on in Scotland. How is Mor'du a human and not a bear? Queen Elinor being the worst queen to the princess? King Fergus being nice to the elves? And the redhead triplets helped the Lightfoot brothers escaped from the kingdom of Dunbroch? It's been four days since Merida came to their world by the witch's magic. There's a really good explanation for this.

The blue skinny elf was mystified. "Then-then what's the point about everything in-in Scotland?" Ian inquired.

The blue burly elf was perplexing. "Wait, the point about everything in Scotland...?" Barley added, inquiring. The blue burly elf shrugged. "Ye lost me about the point about everything in Scotland, Ian." Barley said blankly. The blue burly elf crisscrossed his arms.

The blue skinny elf sighs. Ian was solemn. "Merida came to the Manticore's Tavern by the witch's magic four days ago." The blue skinny elf added. Barley was resolute. The blue burly elf huffed and rolls his eyes. Barley really don't like the princess. Ian continued to speak. "YOU brought Merida with us for our last quest, before my high school graduation. YOU seemed to be liking her somehow, Barley." Ian remarked.

The blue burly elf was not amused. "That was BEFORE we knew Merida was the princess at Loch Lake, Ian." Barley vented.

Ian tried to act brave yet failed. "Princess or not, Merida is what she is." He stated.

The blue burly elf frowns. "BUT the queen doesn't see her daughter is what Merida is." Barley argued.

The blue skinny elf was anxious. "What the heck is wrong with you?" Ian added, inquiring. "I'm telling you that we shouldn't give up on bringing the princess back home. We stopped Mor'du. Merida missed her family in Scotland. YOU'RE the one who tells ME not to give up." He said.

The blue burly elf took a deep breath. Barley was melancholy. He shook his head a few times.

The blue skinny elf was astonished. Ian was gloomy at his elder brother. "Barley...what...what's holding you back so sad?" Ian wonders.

The blue burly elf sighs. Barley looked at his youngest brother. "Ian...I'm sorry...The queen accused us for taking Merida away by your magic...We don't have the proof of our innocence...We can't go back to Dunbroch again...We can't bring the princess home in Scotland..." Barley replies.

The blue burly elf goes to his youngest brother. Barley hugged Ian.

The blue skinny elf was sympathetic yet glad. "Oh Barley..." Ian whispers. He hugs Barley back.

Merida peeked thru the bedroom door. She realized that the Lightfoot brothers are just having a brotherly moment. The princess smiled at them.

Then, Merida recognizes the green plaid box. She got curious. The princess tiptoed quietly behind Barley and Ian. She checks inside of the green plaid box. Merida's mouth watered. The princess decides to take the green plaid box. She was mischievous. Merida left the bedroom in her hush.

The Lightfoot brothers let go of each other.

Barley and Ian are smiling.

Barley was relieved. "Well we'll figure out about the queen of Scotland later." He suggested.

Ian was cheerful. "Yeah...But let's just get rid of the cake first..." he mentioned.

Barley nods his head. "Yup." He said.

The blue burly elf turns around. Barley was alarmed. "OH NO!" He screams.

The blue skinny elf surveyed his desk. Ian gasped. The blue skinny elf was fearful. "THE CAKE!" Ian screamed.

The blue burly elf gestures out to his youngest brother. "Ian, I REALLY left it right here!" Barley exclaimed.

Laurel arrived to Ian's bedroom. She was dreading. "Boys! It's Merida!" Laurel exclaims.

The Lightfoot brothers glanced at their blue elf mother. They are worried.

Something happened to the princess of Dunbroch.
