Sonic, Knuckles, and Y/n all kneeled on the plane. Y/n stayed close to Knuckles as he wrapped bandages on Y/n's torso and around his back, he got the bandages from Tails who noticed the blood coming out of the wound.

Y/n smiled as Knuckles finished wrapping his back, he then let Knuckles hold onto him as he felt too weak to stay steady.

They all looked ahead and saw a giant green tornado. Tails winced.

"That can only be one thing." Knuckles held onto Y/n a bit tighter with one arm as the other held onto the plane.

"The fearsome power of the emerald."

"If that thing really turns thoughts into power, we are in big trouble. Robotnik has a lot of bad thoughts." Sonic said. Tails turned to Sonic and whispered to him.

"Hey Sonic, are you sure it was a good idea bringing 'you know who' aboard..?"

Sonic sighed and whispered back.

"Knuckles isn't actually a bad guy, he's just a little....mixed up." Sonic said, Knuckles heard this and turned to them, still holding Y/n in his arms.

"I am not mixed up! I have steely focus, and I'm complex! That's a lot for some people." Knuckles said, he looked back down at Y/n who was laughing silently at his response. He huffed and looked back straight ahead. Tails huffed a laugh.

"Heh, hope you're not mad about me hitting you with that car!" Knuckles scowled.

"I was completely uninjured, and my revenge will come when you least expect it Fox." He said. Y/n looked up at him and smiled cautiously.

"Heh, on that note— sorry for punching you in the face..." Y/n said and Knuckles rolled his eyes. He won't admit that the punch hurt like a (BLEEP). So he just patted the wolf on the head lightly, ruffling his fur. Y/n blinked in surprise, not expecting the echidna to do that.

Knuckles felt a soft tail wrap around him, he blushed a bright red.

Sonic smirked at Tails and pointed to the duo beside them, Tails rolled his eyes and grinned, shaking his head. Sonic cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the both of them.

"Alright love birds, we need a plan. Knuckles use your strength to—" Sonic was cut off when suddenly picked up Y/n in both his arms, carrying him bridle style. Making sure to hold the wolf close to him and he jumped off the plane into the forest below.

Sonic heard Y/n shout from a distance.
