Ryan and Robin sat on opposite sides of the window in Scoops Ahoy, the small bit of the translated Russian code on a notepad on the counter that separated them. Ryan copied the Russian alphabet onto a sheet of paper while Robin listened to the tape with Dustin's headphones. Dustin himself was off with Steve somewhere in the mall, trying to gather surveillance and find any sign of the Russians.

The bell sitting on the counter by the register dinged, causing Ryan to look up from her work, seeing Erica tapping the bell again, "Excuse me."

Ryan poked Robin's nose to get her attention. Robin scrunched her nose as she glanced up, sliding the headphones around her neck, "What?"

"Give me the headphones, I'll do some translating, you deal with that." She pointed at Erica and her group of friends, her other hand outstretched for the headphones.

"What?" Robin exclaimed in a surprisingly loud whisper as she glanced over at Erica and her friends. "No! You deal with them."

"I would," Ryan sighed dramatically. "But I'm on the other side of the window."

Robin groaned, "You suck."

"Add it to the board."

"That's for Steve, not you."

On the other side of the counter, Erica was growing impatient, repeatedly tapping the bell, "Ahoy!"

Ryan batted her eyes, sticking out her bottom lip in a pout. Robin rolled her eyes, handing over the headphones and the tape with another groan. Ryan grinned, "Thank you."

"Don't know why you're thanking me," Robin scoffed. "You're doing homework."

Ryan stuck her tongue out as Robin turned around to face Erica who didn't waste any time launching into demands, "I'd like to try the peanut butter chocolate swirl, please."

"No." Robin shook her head as Ryan snickered behind her. "No more samples today."

"Why not?"

Ryan spoke up for Robin before she decided to throw an ice cream cone at a group of children, "Abusing the company policy, yadda yadda."

Robin pointed at Ryan over her shoulder, "What she said."

Erica rolled her eyes, leaning forward to glance behind the counter, "Where's the sailor man?"

"Sorry, he can't help you." Robin said a little smugly while Ryan laughed under her breath. It was amusing, watching Robin try to argue with Erica Sinclair. "He's busy."
