It was Chan who mostly did the packing, the reason being he wouldn't let Hyunjin help much because according to him the younger was taking inadequate things for their picnic.

In reality, Chan was packing so much that it seemed as though they were going on a trip to a different empire altogether instead of a picnic in the forest closeby. He carried cosy blankets and filled the picnic basket with lots of fruits, soft breads and the delicious brownies which Felix had baked this morning. But since Chan and Hyunjin had missed breakfast, being the sweetest, Felix is, he saved a bunch for them.

Chan was about to stuff more blankets and extra clothes in his bag but it wouldn't fit anymore. He threw them aside on the bed snd signed.

"I will see these later but first I should get more snacks from the kitchen. What if you get more hungry. We need to be prepared." Chan was about to leave his room, when Hyunjin's stopped him.

"Hyung! How much more can I eat. Relax. That's enough. You yourself said that we are not taking horses. So how will we carry so much there." He scolded the older who massaged his nape embarrassedly.

"Okay. You are right. I won't pack anymore. But you know, I could carry everything but I want to keep my hands a bit free to carry you as well."

Hyunjin smacked his arm, "You are so cheesy."

Chan smiled cheekily at him seeing how the younger tried to hide his obvious blush.

Hyunjin huffed and left Chan's room, carrying the picnic basket himself. Chan carried the bag of blankets, following Hyunjin quickly.

He caught up to Hyunjin and interviewed their free hands as they both smiled at each other.

It was nearly sunset when Chan lead Hyunjin to a certain place in the forest. The Moon empire was build among mountains, but they seemed to be moving towards even higher grounds. Their wolf stamina helped them travel faster. The snow had already disappeared a lot, signalling the arrival of spring, which also helped them walk on foot. But the weather was still cold especially on the elavated path. Hyunjin was glad that he wore a coat and made, rather forced Chan to wear one as well.

They stopped at a place amidst dense tress, which Hyunjin realised was not very close to the palace but not near to the borders either. It was deeper towards the centre of the forest.

He saw the bright rays of the sun peeking through the tall forest trees from somehwere that seems to be a clearing.

Chan guided Hyunjin towards that path as they reached an opening. The view made Hyunjin's breath hitch.

The sunset sky was painted in different shades of orange, pink, purple and blue, surrounding the still bright golden yellow sun, which was starting to hide among the the vastly spread white clouds. The green forest seemed to stretch as far as Hyunjin could see, as the once snow covered tree tops were now shining under the soft rays of the westward moving sun. A small stream ran nearby, sparkling under the sunlight. In all, the sight was one to behold.
