Chan noticed that the sun was about to set, as he looked at the light amber sky through the large window of the secluded hallway. Though this time, the magnificent colours of the sky seemed to him as dull as grey.

He ran towards the end of the hallway on the ground floor and found the doors of the garden to be slightly open. His heart fell as he heard muffled sobs from inside. He inhaled sharply as he opened the door further, slowly with shaking hands.

The garden was usually lit up with golden coloured lights before the fall of dusk, unlike today. But much like the sky, the garden with all it's multicolored blooms looked gloomy.

(The garden but the lights are off in this scene. Please imagine flowers and all.)

Chan noticed that the sobs were coming from behind the white jasmine plants. The flowers were yet to bloom fully in the dark. And Hyunjin's golden hair could be seen peeking through the leaves.

Chan made his way with careful steps, so as to not startle the younger. His heart broke into millions of pieces as he saw the boy hugging his knees desperately with his head hung down, resting on his arms. His body was shaking with the bursts of cries.

Chan built some courage to approach him and was about to sit down beside the younger, when Hyunjin heard a presence through the sounds of fallen leaves against someone's feet. Without seeing who it was he quickly wrapped his arms around his chest, shutting his eyes tightly and said in a scared, timid voice.

"Please don't hurt me. Please I beg you."

Chan was shocked. His hands went cold but he tried to speak.

"Hyunjin, it's me. Chan."

"No no no. Please just let me go."

A series of terrified "please" came out as chants from Hyunjin's trembling lips.

"Hyunjinah just look at me once. It's-" Chan crouched in front of him, trying to hold Hyunjin's hand, as the younger sunddely flinched hard and trashed around in screams.

"Please! No!"

Chan didn't know what to do. Hyunjin had started harshly scratching his own arms, bruising some places. Without thinking Chan hugged Hyunjin tightly, his own body covering Hyunjin's smaller frame completely.

Hyunjin continued to trash around, his nails digging into Chan's arms, but the older didn't bulge a bit. He let Hyunjin to do whatever he wanted, to scream and cry as much as he wanted. Chan kept holding Hyunjin in his embrace, tightly.
