Part 20B " The night continues"

Hello everyone!! Extremely sorry for the delay!! Something unavoidable came up so I couldn't update yesterday 🥺

Anu came out of the shower, dressed in the satin pink nightgown, anticipating her husband's reaction..when her gaze fell on the decorated bed..
" Anuj aate hi honge.. pata nahi unhone aaj ke liye kya socha tha..27 saal tak unhone mera, iss raat ka intezaar kiya hai.. ab unki bhi toh kuch umeedein hongi..mujhse, humse, iss raat se.. kya main unki umeedon pe khari utar paungi..woh mujhse kuch kahenge nahi..par main unhe..woh..disappoint...nahi karna chahti.."
She suddenly started getting flashes from her previous marriage.. where her romantic advances were always rejected...where she was always made to feel she wasn't beautiful enough, desirable enough, good enough, she wasn't enough no matter what she did..
"Anuj isn't like that"... her heart argued.. "he will never blame you.." but her mind said.."but what if he isn't satisfied with you.." She got flashes of her 25th anniversary..when she had caught V with Kavya.. and everyone blaming his affair on her because she wasn't enough...
She collapsed beside the bed.. her knees clutched to her chest.. her head bent over her knees..tears streaming ...
"Woh tumhara ateet tha Anupama.. ab Anuj hai tumhaare saath.. woh sab kyu yaad kar rahi ho tum..sirf apne aur Anuj ki zindagi ke baare me socho.."
She tried to gain control of her emotions... while Anuj walked into the room, in a white kurta pyjama, eager to see his lady..

Seeing her sitting on the floor by the bed, head bent on her knees..he knew something was wrong.. he went upto her and gently called her
Anuj:" Anu..tum theek ho?"
Anu:" Anuj..aap..haan..main bilkul theek hu..woh bas thoda thak gayi thi ne..isiliye yahaan baith gayi"
Anuj:" Toh upar bed pe kyu nahi baithi"
Anu:" Woh..woh..Mukku ne itna accha sajaya hai main nahi chahti thi ki aapke aane se pehle woh kharab hojaye..."
Anuj:" Tum chair pe bhi toh baith sakti thi na Anu.."
Anu:" Anujjj aap ye sab chodiye ne..mujhe aapse kuch kehna hai"
Anuj sensed there was something wrong, but he wanted to listen to what she had to say first..
Anu:" Aapne meri itni saari madat ki ne..toh isiliye mujhe aapko thenk you kehna hai"
Anuj:" Anu.. dosti me no suri no thenk you...aur ab toh hum dost ke saath saath pati patni bhi haina.."
Anu:" Par main apne pati ko apne taarike se thenk you bolna chahti hu toh usme aapko kya problem hai?" She said..pouting and faking her anger.. trying to mask her previous emotions..
Anuj decided to play along this time..
Anuj:" Theek hai..mujhe koi problem nahi hai"
Anu steps closer to him, on her toes and circles his neck with her arms..
Anu:" Toh suniye"
Anuj:" Boliye"
Anu:" Bol du?"
Anuj wraps his arms around her waist..
Anuj:" Bol do"
Anu:" Bol du?"
Anuj holds her tighter..and nuzzles in her neck..
Anuj:" Bol do naa"
Anu quickly pecks the mole near his lips
Anu:" Thenk you, mere Shayar Kapadia ji"
Anuj:" Ufffff..aisa thenk you mile toh main roz aapki madat karunga mohotarma.."
And they just keep looking at each other.. lovingly and passionately..
Anuj finally breaks the silence...
Anuj:" Anu..mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai..par usse pehle..tum yahaan bed pe aaramse baitho..chalo.."
He makes her sit on the bed..fetches a small box from the dressing table drawer and sits near the foot of the bed...
Anu.. ye lo..shaadi ka gift..meri taraf se..meri wife ke liye.. he said the word wife with so much of pride in his voice and eyes....
Anu opened the box and took out a pair of delicate silver anklets.. the tiny bells all round the anklet were heart shaped..
Anuj forwarded his hand.. she placed the anklets in his palm.. he raised her legs on the bed..took them in his lap and tied the anklets around her ankles..and kissed both her feet lovingly.
Anuj:" Ye maine lightweight waale choose kiye taaki tum inhe regularly pehen sako.."
He also took the tube he had brought along and applied the ointment on her shoebites...and gently blew on them..

Anu:" Anuj..ye payal kitne pyaare hain..bohot bohot bohot accha hai..thenk youu!!!"
Anuj:" I'm so glad tumhe ye pasand aaye.. par mujhe aisa waala thenk you nahi chahiye..pehle waala jo diya tha waisa waala do.."
Anu:" Par aapne toh kaha tha ne ki hum dost aur pati patni hai toh thenk you nahi kehna.."
Anuj:" Ye toh cheating hai Anu"
Anu:" Isme chalta hai"
Anuj:" Kisme"
Anu:" P...p...pp..."
Anuj:" Anuuuuuu... ab toh shaadi bhi hogayi..ab toh bol do"
Anu:" Haan..shaadi hogayi phir bhi aap mujhe p se prabhavit karte hain aur p se pareshaan bhi..par phir bhi main aapke liye naashte me p se pyaaz ke parathe banaungi kyunki... "
Anuj:" Yaar ye dictionary bandh karo tumhari..kyunki kya?"
Anu crawled up to him..grabbed a handful of rose petals from the bed..and threw it on them..
Anu:" Kyunki main aapse p se pyaar karti hu..samjhe mere bholuram"
They started throwing rose petals on each other and playing about..while anu was trying to dodhe some petals..she geld Anuj's hand and fell on the bed..and Anuj fell above her.. they were so close to each other...lost in each other... Anuj's hand cleared her hair to the side of her face on autopilot...and his lips touched her cheek on their own accord..as her eyes shut and lips carved into a beautiful smile..
He kissed her tenderly...
Anuj:" Anu...utho na...mujhe tumse baat karni hai.."
Anu:" Aap kabse keh rahe hain baat karni hai karni hai..kijiye na..main sunn rahi hu"
He helped her sit up...and sat beside her..holding her hands in his..
Anuj:" Anu..dekho..I don't want to make you uncomfortable..par ab ye conversation bohot zaruri hai.. humaari shaadi hogayi hai..but that doesn't mean ki hume physically intimate hona hi hai.. I know hum kaafi close aa gaye hain..physically and emotionally bhi.. par next step lene..ya lene ke baare me sochne se pehle main jaan na chahta hu ki tum ready ho ya nahi...tumhaari previous relationship me kya hua..uske baad tum kya chahti ho..ye sab main nahi jaanta..par agar tum mujhse share karo toh main tumhe samajh paunga na.."
Anu just hugged him..and hid herself in his arms... silent...
Anuj:" Anu..I'm sorry..maine koi limit cross kardi kya?? Agar tum abhi iss baare me discuss nahi karna chahti ho toh it's completely fine.. take your time..main wait karunga..tum mujhse pyaar karti ho aur mere saath ho..ye mere liye kaafi hai Anu.."
Anu was now sobbing in his arms..
Anu:" Suri..suri Anuj... main aaj ki raat aapke liye khaas banana chahti thi.. aapne kitne saalo se intezaar kiya hoga ne.. main aapke saath aage badhna chahti hu.. apne ateet ki sab yaadein peeche chodkar aapke saath aage badhna chahti hu..par pata nahi kyu..."
Anuj:" Anu dekho please don't cry.. aur ye raat mere liye khaas hai Anu..kyunki tum mere saath ho.. agar koi baat tumhe pareshan kar rahi hai toh mujhse share karo na..akele akele uske baare me sochkar apne aap ko aur pareshaan mat karo..look at me Anu..."
Anu looked at him..her teary eyes peircing his heart...she looked at him and noticed tears flowing from his eyes too.. and she wiped them.. and shook her head indicating him not to cry..
Anu:" Anuj... woh..main aapse bohot bohot pyaar karti hu aur mujhe aap par pura bharosa hai..par..bas khud par bharosa nahi hai...meri..pichli shaadi me.. main kabhi unhe khush nahi kar paati thi.. humne..kabhi woh pyaar se nahi kiya tha...mere liye bas woh ek farz tha..jo main nibhaati thi..ek baar jab mujhe laga ki woh pyaar hai..toh woh bas dhokha tha (prequel reference, to stop her from going to USA).. aur Pakhi ke baad kabhi...nahi...main jaanti hu aap mujhse bohot pyaar karte hain..par shayad main aapko bhi khush nahi rakh paayi toh.. mujhe darr kag raha hai Anuj..pata nahi kis baat ka..par...aap mere saath hai na Anuj?"

Anuj nodded.. she could see the anger and hatred in his eyes for the man who had hurt his Anu..
Anu:" Anuj.. suri...aaj hi humaari shaadi hui hai aur aaj hi main ye sab.."
Anuj:" Nahi Anu..maine hi pucha tha na tumse... main samajh sakta hu tumhaari problem...and don't worry...hum tab tak aage nahi badhenge jab tak tum comfortable nahi ho..I promise..."
Anu:" Nahi Anuj... ab main apne ateet ka asar humaari aane waali zindagi par nahi padne dena chahti.. main aapke saath aage badhkar, nayi yaadein banakar unn puraani yaadon ko bhul jaana chahti hu..haan..thoda wakt toh lagega..par ab na main khud intezaar karna chahti hu na aapse intezaar karwaana chahti hu.. ab main aapki hona chahti hu Anuj...har tareeke se...mann se bhi aur..tann se bhi..agar aap chahe toh..."
Anuj:" Anu...are you sure?"
She nodded...
Anu:" Anuj.. par agar main aapko khush nahi kar paayi toh..aap kehte hain ki main bohot sundar hu..par.."
Anuj:" Anu...shhh... ye dekho..mera dil tumhaare bas haath pakadne se kitni zor se dhadakta hai..aur kisne kaha ki tum sundar nahi ho?? Tum iss duniya ki sabse khubsurat ladki ho Anu.."
Anu, wiped her tears, feeling reassured..
Anu:" Toh bataiye..main iss nightgown me kaisi lag rahi hu?"
Anuj:" Tumhaara sawaal hi galat hai Anu.. tum toh waise hi sundar ho..tumhaare pehen ne se kapdo aur gehno ki sundarta badh jaati hai.. toh aise pucho, ki ye nightgown kaisa kag raha hai.. aur puchne ki kya zarurat.. tumhaare upar toh har tarah ke kapde bohot bohot suit karte hain"
He cupped her face and kissed her forehead..
As she opened her and locked them with his...he could see the longing in her eyes...the longing to be loved, the longing to be belong, to be treasured, to be desired..
And he was going to make sure he gave her everything she longed for..

He slowly helped her lie down on the bed.. started kissing her face, her forehead, eyes, cheeks, nose, chin, lips, neck...looking at her lovingly.. she was smiling and reciprocated all that love by flipping their positions..and returned all those kisses with a lot of love and devotion..
Each time her lips touched his skin, Anuj felt his heart beat a little more energetically.. finally, his life had found his purpose...or rather...he had found his life...
They shed their inhibitions bit by bit, as they helped each other lose their clothing layer by layer..
As Anuj leaned back to admire his darling wife.. he was just lost in her beauty, the beauty of her milky smooth skin, the beauty of her eyes, gazing at him with devotion, the beauty of her long tresses, spread over the pillow..the sheer beauty of her heart and body...
Anuj: "Na ho tum Apsara na pari,
Na ho chaand ka tukda tum
Chand kya, suraj ka noor bhi tumhaare saamne pheeka pad jaaye,
Husn ki paribhaasha ho tum
Na koi shringaar na koi zevar savaarta hai tumhe
Khuda ki sabse khubsurat takhleeq ho tum"

Anu was overwhelmed.. no one had ever told her she was beautiful... here, this man, her man..made her feel beautiful... she didn't realise when happy tears made their way from her eyes to her cheeks...but her man did..and kissed them away...
Anuj:" Anu.. please don't cry...I love you jaan.."
Anu:" I love you too...Anoooj..."
She saw the love in his eyes give way to passion...and she was sure her eyes mirrored his...
She nodded, blushing, giving him the consent he was seeking...
He worshipped every inch of her, with his hands and lips first...and then made love to her...
That night..he gave her the pleasure she had always yearned for, she gave him the satisfaction he had always yearned for..
And they both found what they had  always yearned for.. a sense of belonging...
