As fair as the snowy himalayas,
Heart filled with love for us, her children,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
She who is the daughter of the mountain king.

Bedecked in robes of royal red,
Adorned with golds and precious gems,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
She who is the mother of all.

Sister of the pure Ganga,
The one whose name washes off every wrong,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
May she purge this world of vices and sins.

Who is the epitome of eternal strength,
Whose name drives off fear from the heart,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
She who is the protecter of this world.

Who is the beloved wife of Shiva,
And the loving mother of Kartikeya and Ganesh,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
Who is the lady of love in its varied forms.

Who is third of the tridevi,
The three goddesses who brought forth life,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
May she wash our souls in her divine light.

Whose radiance births fear in heart of evil,
Whose stare turns it to ashes,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
She who is the lady of verve and strength.

Whose womb is where life had begun,
Whose feet at which it shall return,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
She who is the great mother goddess.

Who is the Parambhrama herself,
The giver of life and sustenance,
I bow down to Maa Parvati,
She whose name shall lead us to liberation.
