GIVING HER UP

"Ayo, Tzu. Sorry to wake you up early in the morning"Chaeyoung said after she barge inside the guess room, which Tzuyu stayed in

"It's fine, I'm already up"

"Yet you're still here laying down?"

"I'm too lazy to stand"

"Let's go take a breakfast?"Chaeyoung said as Tzuyu stood from its bed

"Mina unnie is here?"Tzuyu raised a brow the moment they got downstairs

"What do you mean? I'm always here though"Mina shrugged her shoulders

"Are you guys planning to get married?"Tzuyu asked

"Not yet, I'm busy at work"Mina said as Tzuyu glance at Chaeyoung not so obvious. She wasn't showing it, but deep inside her, it hurts. She was ready for her, but Mina. . .

"We need some time"Chaeyoung smiled

"You're such a great pretender"Tzuyu whispered through her ears

"What?"Chaeyoung frowned at her, but she just received a shrug from the latter

"What are you guys talking about?"Mina asked after she checked on her papers

"She said you're always busy"Tzuyu teased

"Ya! I didn't!"Chaeyoung defensively said

"I'm obviously joking"Tzuyu chuckled

"Yah right"Mina agreed

"Seriously, Mina?"Chaeyoung crossed her arms

"You're so cute, you know that"Mina said, making Chaeyoung blushed

"By the way, before I forgot. Seulgi unnie just came here and she wanted to talk to you"Chaeyoung also said that to hide her heating face

"I don't want to talk to her"

"Maybe you can hear her out first?"

"I don't want to hear her lies"

"Tzuyu, it won't work that way. Give her atleast a chance"Mina muttured

And with that, Tzuyu was right here at the restaurant with Seulgi. She just wanted some talk, it wasn't bad if she'll give what she wanted, right?

So here she was, sitting across Seulgi and she doesn't even know why she's not saying a word.

They are just there, doing nothing for almost 10 minutes.

A few moments and Seulgi finally started to talk,

"I'm leaving, maybe in three weeks. I'm going to California. . . mom just called me"Seulgi stared at her eyes before she continued,
"Would you like to come with me?"she asked

Tzuyu didn't answer, instead she look down. Seulgi leaned in and put her hands over the latter's.

"You don't have to speak"Seulgi said as Tzuyu look at her before she spoke up,

"I need to tell you something"Tzuyu muttured

Seulgi shook her head before she speak.

"R-Remember what I said before. . . I want y-you to be happy. When I leave, no text, no calls, no emails"Seulgi's eyes are now watering as she removed her hands from Tzuyu's
"Our friendship were always be here. Maybe this isn't our time yet. I will let fate decide. If we were meant to be, we'll be together. Maybe not now, maybe not yet"she continued

Tzuyu looked down as Seulgi wiped her tears off. She took a deep breath before she continues.

"She's already waiting for you"

Tzuyu stood up and headed towards her direction. They made an eye contact before Tzuyu leaned in and kissed her forehead.

Seulgi closed her eyes as she felt the tears falling down her cheeks.

Tzuyu left. She lost her again.

This time she just realized that not all people in your life are meant to stay. Sometimes they are only there long enough to teach you the lesson that you needed to learn.
