Sleeping soundly under a red and blue comforter, with his head rested against white and red pillows, a boy groaned as a voice called to him.

"Izuku!" A woman called.

'Huh?' The boy thought, having awakened a bit from the shout.

"Izuku!" She called again, this time, lightly nudging the boy's shoulder.

'Isn't that the guy from that Shonen? Why is my mom yelling his—...'

The boy's eyes shot open in fear and disbelief. He locked eyes with a tall woman with long green hair, with strands tied into a messy bun at a 45° angle behind her head.

Taking a few seconds to bask in the rather rare sight of a more maintained, healthy Inko Midoriya, the boy nearly bit his tongue as he tried to speak.

"What are you waiting for?! The UA Entrance Exams are today! You're going to be late!" Inko shouted, using her telekinesis to lift up a middle school uniform, and a pair of black sweats and a white shirt.

"I'm sorry, the WHA—"

The boy now stood outside of the large entrance of the most prestigious Hero Course in all of Japan, and potentially the world, U.A. Academy.

Looking down at his shoes, and up at his curly, dull hair, the boy was indeed who he thought he was.

'I'm... Izuku Midoriya... this is impossible...' The boy thought, silently despairing as other hopeful participants of the exam walked by, choosing either to stare or ignore the mute dilemma.

"I can't do this." The boy turned around, but found someone his memory knew to fear, evident by the flinch in his step seeing Katsuki Bakugo.

'Oh god! Not now! If I act strange, he'll suspect something!' The boy thought with a nervous smile.

However, his skepticism of the situation was nulled by Katsuki's casual greeting.

"Yo, Izuku. What's got you spacing out?" Katsuki asked a calm, stoic look on his face.

"Uh, you know. Just my nerves. Can't help it when you realize where we are." The boy was quick to match his energy in casual banter, even going so far as to turn and walk with him to the large doors.

"You've always been bad with stuff like this. Crowds never suited you." Katsuki chuckled lightly.

'What is this dynamic?! I don't remember this...' The boy thought with a smile, making sure not to let his thoughts convey his emotions.

"Let's sit together to find out where they'll place us. Maybe we can work together in the practical portion." The boy suggested.

"Or we have a little competition, huh. You said you finally got your quirk, so what better way to reveal the surprise with a bet." Katsuki smirked a little, making the boy comforted, understanding now that he and Katsuki were friends.

"Of course! What do you have in mind?" The boy asked.

"Let's keep it simple. Most points... if it's point-based, treats the other to dinner." Katsuki stated.

"Hmm... I hope you've got your wallet ready." The boy replied with a confident smile.

Their conversation was almost seamless, like he knew exactly what to say to blend in. It was as if he was truly this reality's Izuku Midoriya.

To delve in on that, he also tripped just like Izuku.

The boy tripped over an uprooted brick, and fell flat on his face with a grunt. The boy looked up and saw Katsuki extending his hand, but a girl beside him with a rather confusingly frustrated stare.
