Chapter 12

Iris POV

I pulled away to see he had a massive grin on his face which revealed his angelic dimples. I couldn't help but smile slightly either. I don't know how long we both just stood there but after a while we heard someone cough outside the dressing room.

"Urm Excuse me miss, how long are you going to take?"

I bit my lip thinking about how to reply when Mitch opened the curtain and walked us out, still keeping his arm on my waist. The shop assistant looked at us in chock and i noticed some other people were giving us funny looks aswell. Mitch didn't seem to care at all and he steered us through the shop until we were back in the mall.

"well , that was fun" he stated like it was fact, i looked up at him in shock. when did Mitch become this well - manly? He was always shy and quiet and now he was going all well all how the hell can you describe it?

"Fun?" He asked, yeah that was a description WAIT he just - he just read my mind.

"Yupp, did you think it was just Zack, it's a natural vampire gift" Great another annoying mind reader.

Suddenly we stopped and he looked at me, "You find me annoying?" he pouted, which only helped me realise just how kissable his lips were. He smirked and snaked his arms round me and kissed me again. I guess they weren't cold anymore but they didn't give me them sparks whenever we touched. But hey it wasn't bad.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" We pulled apart to see Holly standing there looking absolutely pissed, i guess she wasn't as pissed at Chase anymore. More pissed at me for well - could this be counted as cheating?

"Hey Holly, where's Zack? I'm sure i saw him running around here before?" Mitch said smoothly.

Holly didn't even look at him, she was too busy glaring at me. She opened her mouth to shout again but Mitch suddenly moved his arm forward and shoved a chocolate bar into her mouth. We both stared at him and he just shrugged "Couldn't have her screaming in here, attracts too much attention"

Instead of replying Holly spat out the bar and grabbed my arm causing MItch to grip me tighter, wow he was strong my sides were starting to hurt. Holly glared at him and spat "Let her go maggot, we need to talk".

Mitch smirked and pulled me around and gave me a last deep kiss, i didm't kiss back because i was shocked and scared. Shocked he did this in front of Holly and scared of Holly. All her anger at Chase was now going to be redirected at me.

We pulled apart and leaned our foreheads together. "I'll call you later" he whispered and the he pulled back and walked off. Wow he had a cute butt was all i could think when i felt cold water being poured on me. I turned around both freezing and wet to see a very scary Holly.

"Lets go before i scream in here" she spat at me.

That's it i've had enough.

"Listen, just because i chose him over your brother does not mean you can be a bitch to me." I spat back "Don't you remember what he did to me?"

Her head fell at the memory and i almost felt guilty, "Can we go home?" she whispered.

I nodded and we both walked back to the car we got in and she started driving. I waited patiently just waiting for her to ask the question. and sure enough the second she opened her mouth i knew what she was going to ask

"Why?" she simply stated

"Because he's my mate" I stated causing her to almost crash into the car in front of us. Her whold face was in shock, her eyes were round and her mouth was wide open. She didn't speak until we were safely parked in a diner car park.

"But Chase said - " i quickly cut her off

"I'm his vampire mate" This made her scream loudly causing some randomn kids to start looking at us and a baby even looked at her and started crying. I slapped my hand onto her mouth muffling the scream. Then i felt a tongue licking my hand.

"Ewww Gross Holls" I said wiping my hand on her arm.

"Coming from the girl who was smooching a vampire" she said blatantly causing me to look down "Look i don't know what to think, I though you and Chase were mates?"

"I - I know but he's so sweet and when he kisses me it feels good" She rolled her eyes and stared at me

"Do youfeel sparks? Do you feel heat rushing to your toes? Do you feel like " She stopped there and turned pink but carried on " - like jumping them right then and there?" She said the last line turning red. I couldn't help but cracking up but she stared intently at me, "Well?"

I opened my mouth but closed it, well No i didn't but should i tell her. I looked at her and she was grinning "See you don't, It's just a mistake?"

I felt slightly angry at that, she was still sticking up for ...him even after everything. "No maybe i don't, but thats between werewolves, maybe it's different between werewolves and vampires."

"Have you heard yourself? Between werewolves and vampires? ITS NOT NORMAL!!" She screamed the last line and everyword felt like a fresh dagger to me.

"You say it like werewolves are normal?"

She glared at me and then her eyes shone like she had a idea, She handed me a $10 note, "Pleasee get me a milkshake? Get one too." I knew she was upto something but i was tored of arguing with her, i got out and went into the diner to order.

Holly POV

Iris git up and got out. I felt bad for what i said but god it's so obvious. Everytime you mention Chase's name her eyes broghten and she startes to fidget, reminds me off Zack. Speaking of Zack where was that mind reading hotty?

Oh Well, I'll catch up with him later. He better have something good lined up for tomorrow. I took out my phone and pulled open my phone and opened my contacts. There he is. I rang the number and a guys voice answered

"Hello"

I smiled and replied "Hey Bro"

*5 minutes later*

Iris POV

I walked out with our milkshakes and walked upto the car. Holly quickly put her phone away and she smiled.

"Who was that?" I asked

"Just Zack, I'm annoying him about tomorrow" I looked at her and smirked, CRAP.

"WAIT, YOU KNOW WHERE WE'RE GOING!! TELL ME!!!" She started yelling at me and the little baby and his moom walked pass and he started crying again. His mom shot us a hateful look.

"TELL ME!!!!!" I heard someone yell in my ear causing me to drop the milkshaked all over myself and the car.

"Awwww Crap" i moaned as Holly started the car.

"Your cleaning it up" she muttered.

Yep we were good.

I perefer writing as much as i think is good for the chapter, sometimes it 2 or 3 pages and soemtimes it's one

And i upload whenever i have free time to write but hey i have a life LOL
