My plans for this story changed over the course of writing it. So for the purpose of these next few chapters, Charlotte and Cedric are 18 in GoF. And you cannot enter the tournament unless you're 18. This means Fred and George will be 17 in the beginning of their 6th year, but we know they turn 18 April 1st.
Because this is a Fred Weasley story, we all already know that Charlotte and Cedric cannot stay together. But over the course of writing this I fell in love with the relationship between Charlotte and Cedric, and I don't want to mess that up in the end.
This story is a coming-of-age-story, and is suppose to mimic real life (Besides all the magic.) And sometimes in life we fall in love with people we're not meant to be with. And Sometimes we have to watch people we love be with someone else.
