chapter 3

around 5 hours later, we have got to our first stop, the campground.

( Lexi's POV )

" alright kids, go on to bed and we will get everything else." dad told us.

cameron, Dylan, mason and Jordan went and took the four bunk beds.

"Lexi honey, if you want to go lay in your dads and my bed for tonight you can, we will be up for a while." mom told me.

" are you sure mom?" I asked not wanting to take their room.

"yes dear, now go to bed, goodnight and I love you" she said kissing my cheek.

I walked back to the back room, it was a good size room for it to be in a rv. it had a queen size bed, and two night stands on each side. then area for a pack and play for my sister and brother. but my sister slept with me on most nights so she was in the middle of the bed already.

I scooted her over and laid down myself before I was fast asleep.

I awoke the next morning with someone screaming at me.

"LEX GET UP!" Dylan screamed at me.

"okay okay I'm up." I said rubbing my eyes.

I walked in the kitchen area and everyone else was already up.

"Lexi, please go get dressed. " my mom told me.

"I just got up mom."

"darling please just do what your mother says. we have some errands for each of you to do." my dad told me giving me the 'listen to your mother look'

I sighed.

"now here's the list, Justin and Dylan is going down to the lake to get fish to go with our dinner this evening. Cameron and Lexi, you two will need to go into town and take this list. and lastly, Jordan and mason will go get firewood" she said finishing.

was she serious.

"mom why can't me and Dylan go ?" I begged.

she just glared at me.

"later little sis" Dylan said winking at me and walking out.

I groaned. I went into the back room and got my suitcase out. I decided on a pair of Hollister shorts, and neon pink tank top. I put some mascara on and put my hair in a pony tail.

I walked out and Cameron was waiting for me.

"you ready?" I asked grabbing my phone.

"yeah. let's go." he said.

what was his problem?

we took the car my dad had brought and had been attached to the back of the rv.

it was silent. until my phone started ringing. it was luke.

"hey Luke!" I said. and I heard Cameron groan.

"hey baby girl."

"I miss you!" I told him really missing him.

" i miss you too! but guess what?" he said excitedly.

"yes?"

" I got us tickets to see your favorite person!"

I couldn't believe it! " Blake Shelton? "

"even better babe! I got us 4 tickets to the ACM awards!" he almost like shouted.

"oh my god!! are you serious ?" I said almost passing out.
