Diesel's POV:

"Goodbye Legoshi." I said before waving him off.

From what he tells me, Tem was eaten here in the school. But the question still remains: by whom?

My phone stated to ring.

It was an unknown ID.

I swiped the call button to answer.

All I could hear was heavy breathing.

"Hello?" I asked. No reply. "Hello?" Again no response. Just the heavy breathing.

"Watch your back. You don't know what's around the corner. It'll be a shame if Heidi got hurt because of you." A deep voice came from the other end of my phone. Being changed by a voice changer so not traceable.

"Who is this?" I yelled into my phone. My heart in my throat. Snarling a bit as I spoke. "What have you done to Heidi!?"

"Calm yourself. You'll soon find out who I am. Better worry about your sister at the moment. Hell she could be lying in a pool of her own blood right now! But I'll warn you this once, if you call anyone, tell anyone about this and I'll go after everyone you love."

Beep, beep, beep.

They hung up. I took my phone away from my ear. Heidi.

I rushed out my room, grabbing my keys and such with me as I ran down the hallways and down the staircase. I rushed out the building and sprinted to the Drama club.

I banged to door open searching for my sister. Everyone turned and looked at me. I didn't care. I needed to find Heidi. To see if she is alright.

"Is this door slamming going to become a habit?" Louis scolded me. The room was awfully silent.

"Where's Heidi?" I asked ignoring peoples stares and Louis stern expression. "Where is my sister?" I said growing worried and anger coursing through my veins.

"Diesel? What's wrong?" She asked coming out of a crowd of dancers.

I rushed over to her, embracing her in a tight hug in my chest resting my head on top of hers.

"Thank heaven your safe!" I said holding her close still.

"What's going on?" She asked me. People still staring. "Diesel your shaking and your heart is racing!"

"I'm fine. I think. For now at least." I said trying to calm myself down.

"What's going on?" She asked in a stern voice.

"It's... noting you need to worry about. Really. Just... uhhh... watch your back for me... okay?" I said backing away from her.

"Diesel! Tell me what's going on!" She yelled at me.

"I can't Heidi! I can't tell you!" I said looking down at the floor.

"Diesel. Tell me what's going on." She said with a stern voice.

"No! I can't!" I yelled back.

"Tell me!" She said growing angrier.

"I SAID I CANT HEIDI!" I shouted the loudest I have ever shouted. I looked at her stunned. She looked at the floor. She didn't look at me. "Heidi I didn't mean-"

"If you don't trust me just say so. Don't mask it. Your gonna loose me some day, Diesel. I hope you know that." She said before looking at me with tears pricking at their eyes.

"Heidi... I didn't mean to raise my voice! I'm sorry!" I said as she turned and left.

The others were staring at me. It was for her safety.

"Diesel. I need to talk to you in my office." Louis said looking dead at me.

"Really now? Yeah alright." I said in a small voice.

He lead me to his office. Checking around his shoulder every few seconds to make sure I was following. Like being on a leash.

He unlocked his door and entered the room. I walked inside as well. As soon as I was submerged in the room, he shut the door.

"So... is this about what just happened?" I asked as I watched him sit behind his desk.

"No of course not." He said in a snappy tone. "This is about your audition. Sanu and I both agreed that you would do perfectly for the part of the fire spirit." He said not looking happy about it.

"Oh.. that's great. Thank you." I replied. I was happy about getting the part but sad about shouting at Heidi. She's the only blood family I have left.

"About what happened earlier." He spoke. My heart dropped even more. "I hope you realise what you did was unacceptable. Reckless. And you didn't even ask for my consent before grooming me."

I looked up in surprise... he knew what that was?

"Don't look at me like that. You didn't think that I didn't know what grooming was? Pathetic. Of course I know. You'd didn't think I wouldn't notice the mark you left on my nape, that was your plan all along wasn't it? Give me a mark that will spread roomers around the school, and ruin my reputation? I'll warn you now, do anything like that again and I'll report you to the head master. Do you understand?" He said in a cold hearted tone.

"Yeah I understand. Although it was by accident." I said. I was confused. I left a mark? This is turning out to be one of the worst days of my life.

"Good. Now leave. I'll see you in here tomorrow to discuss our schedule for our scenes." He said giving me a cold look.

I turned to leave. Grabbing the door handle. But I paused.

"You know Louis, you interest me." I said looking at him.

"In what way?" He said lifting his head up at me.

"Although you looked like you were terrified in the heat of the moment, I got the scent that you actually quite liked it. Maybe I got it confused with another feeling. But either way your lucky I didn't bite." I said seeing his reaction.

"And what would've happened if you did?" He asked me again in a cold tone.

"You would have a bite scar that tells other felines and canines that your taken by me. That scar would forever hold my scent that scares off herbivores and carnivores alike, although you would be immune to the scent. They call it being claimed. If that happened, you Louis...would be mine." I said before opening the door, walking out and closing the door behind me.

Louis' POV

If that happened, you Louis... would be mine.

My head was repeating his words. His? What would of happened if he did claim me? Would I be angry? No. Disappointed? No. But why?

I looked at my hands on the desk in front of me. If only I was a carnivore I could show him up. I don't need his petty little excuses for what he did.

It's not right. A carnivore and a herbivore... it's not right any way you look at it. Even less for a dog and a red deer.

But why do I feel disappointed?
