SIMON WAITED FOR OLIVER AND Dillion to show up. Finally, he heard the sound of wires connecting to buildings before two people finally landed. "Section Commander! You're okay!" Oliver greeted.
"I've only been gone for a few months, Ollie." Simon replied bluntly as Dillon handed him his gear. Simon muttered his thanks and began to gear up. Once he was finished, Oliver handed him a knife so he could transform — as he wasn't wearing his ring — in which he accepted it.
"So your job is to protect Eren?" Oliver asked.
"That's what Eren wants me to do. Never thought I would have to use my Titan for war." Simon responded.
"We didn't think Eren would turn out this way, either. Yet, here we are." Dillon countered, making Simon hum in agreement.
"You two are tasked to make sure the Jaw Titan stays out of my way. Yelena trapped him along with the Cart for the time being, but if he gets out, he'll be the most troublesome." Simon told the two, who nodded. "Mikasa is defending Eren on the ground. While the others shoot down soldiers."
Oliver sighed. "Hange played right into Eren's hands. Just like he wanted." He said.
"What else do you expect them to do? If we didn't come, he still would've attacked. Hange knew this." Simon reminded him. "Let's get to higher ground. I need to know when to charge in."
