SIMON WAS WALKING AROUND THE remains of the Reiss chapel with his green Scouts cloak around him and a rifle in his hand. He could see the bodies of Kenny's squad all crushed from the impact of Rod Reiss' Titan transformation.
"Section Commander!"
Simon turned around to see Rachel rushing towards him. "What is it?" He asked.
"We've found Conner Laurent!" Rachel responded. Simon could only widen his eyes in shock.
So that's how Simon found himself face-to-face with his father, who was on the brink of death.
"Well, out with it. What do you want to know?" Conner asked.
"Tell me, Conner." Simon began, kneeling down in front of his father as he narrowed his eyes. "Who in the hell did have to devour to gain my Titan power?"
Conner chuckled. "Your mother..." He replied, leaving Simon stunned.
