Lost you

The moment
you walked through that door,
The moment
you broke eye contact;
I knew I had lost you forever.

But what does lost really mean
when you are visible everywhere I go?
I wish I could scream
into the pillow you once gave me:
"You might wanna use it when you're angry."
You're right, I will.

Does it keep you in control?
Used my voice
when I was bothered,
but now I'm left here thinking.

I know you didn't want to change;
there's no need to deny, you did.
With all of them surrounding you,
no wonder why you didn't care.

Angelic and golden words;
broken promises.
Another mystery passenger
on my flight to a happy life.
Served you what you needed,
after a while you didn't answer.

This was too good to last.
In a Labyrinth of tall trees
that protected us from the outside,
you found your way out.
I know I should
but I could never hate you.
