Human kind

"Maybe human kind was just gods mistake."

We blame society
but we are society.
A war against ourselves
and only we can stop it.
But will we win or lose?

There are beauty standards
we made up,
because we only want things perfect.
Why do we want it,
when no one can have it?

Beauty doesn't have a definition
since we decide what beauty really is.
It could be a perfect green tree; some perfect shaped eyes; the perfect song;
we decide.

I can be perfect too.
But who decides
what that makes me,
what that means?
We feel forced to speak our mind
without thinking what it might do.

We are all perfect.
The body of a woman,
creates another human,
I mean, isn't that beautiful?
How much we survive without trying,
maybe not even wanting too,
but we still do.

So tell me,
if we are all perfect
on our own way,
why do we feel the need
to destroy what's already okay?
Memories in cities that are now destroyed;
who gets more power over who;
peace on earth, what's that?
And who gets more than the other?

enough.

We are so focused on destroying others,
we end up destroying ourselves.

"Maybe human kind was just gods mistake."
