Chapter 24| May I?

I am too busy working for the preparation. The celebration is going to be held tomorrow and there are still so much work left.

Clearly we are not allowed to enjoy this party. The boys were working hard too. There was a festive mood all the time.

"Red or blue?" Jungkook asked me showing the themes on my computer.

"You don't need to interfere in this. We will take care of it" I said trying to get him off of my computer.

"But I want to" he said shoving me away.

"Fine. Do whatever I want" I said and was heading to arrange another thing.

But I stopped in my tracks and said,

"Blue."

"You will go to salon. I don't know anything else" Minji said pulling me with her.

"OK I will. But first let me go" I tried to make my arm free from her hold.

"You promise?" She asked with doubts in her eyes.

"Yes" I replied sighing. I don't have that much time.

D-Day:

I was walking around to make sure everything is well prepared. I wore an indigo coloured dress. I tried my best to look decent enough.

"Oh the pretty noona!" A child like voice said.

I looked at the owner of the voice.

"Kyunghyunie!" I exclaimed after seeing that I cheery kid.

I saw Professor Jeon too, beside him.

"Good evening, Professor Jeon" I greeted her.

"You people did a really good job. I'm proud of you" she said.

"Thank you so much" I said feeling grateful.

"Jungkook asked me to come here. Since I am his only relative in Seoul" she explained.

"It's a good thing that you came" I said smiling.

"Have you seen Jungkook though?" I asked her again.

"No, I couldn't" she replied.

"If I find him, I'll tell him to meet with you" I said.

The party had started. The couples were dancing. It was a total family party without any reporters and all. BTS members were also dancing with their family members or staffs whom I don't know that much.

I was standing at a corner since there is actually no one with whom I can interact.

"Are you a celebrity?"

I finger flicked on Kwan's forehead.

"I am Y/N" I replied.

"For real?" He asked again.

I just squinted my eyes not answering this time.

"May I?" Jungkook came after a while and asked me.

"You may what?" I asked getting confused.

"Shall we dance? No. I mean. Can we dance?" He asked again. His eyes were gleaming.

Why is he so good to me suddenly?

"Also you look really different today. It's good that you don't dress up like this everyday" he said.

"Huh?" I didn't get it.

"Nothing. Are we doing it or not?" He said asking for my hand.

"Are you sure it's okay?" I asked.

"Of course it is. There are no cameras here. The security is really tight. So no paparazzi can come here. Also some of the members are already dancing with the staffs. He said and I looked around.

"Uh. I guess, OK" I replied. Probably I wanted to dance too.
