LIMANG minuto bago mag-ala una ay narating niya ang opisina ng abogado. Nakabuntot pa din sa kaniya si Rafael habang si Joshua ay nasa lobby ng gusali at si Tristan ay nasa sasakyan nagpaiwan.

Bago pumasok sa loob ng opisina ay nilingon niya si Rafael. Pormal ang ekspresyon ng lalaki, wala kang emosyong mapapansin dito.

"You can just stay here. You don't have to follow me inside. Unless you want to listen and report it back to your boss." Sarkastiko niyang sabi dito.

Tumango lamang ang lalaki at pumuwesto na sa tabi ng pinto.

Tatlong marahang katok ang kaniyang ginawa to let the lawyer know of her presence before she opened the door.

"Mrs Medici, I'm glad you made it. I'm Atty. Roberto Santillan." Nakangiting bungad sa kaniya ng may katandaan ng abogado. Manipis na ang buhok nito sa ulo pero matikas pa ang pangangatawan, mukhang alaga sa ehersisyo.

Tinanggap niya ang pakikipagkamay nito. "Nice to meet you po, attorney. I believe you already know my case?" Tanong niya dito.

"Yes, of course. I was already briefed by your corporate lawyer. Please have a seat so we can talk about the details." Alok nito sa kaniya.

Isang oras silang nag-usap ng abogado at inilahad niya ang kaniyang layunin na makipaghiwalay na sa asawa. She was married to Marco in the Philippines and Italy kaya medyo komplikado dahil walang divorce sa Pilipinas.

"The fastest way we can deal with this is if your husband will cooperate with the process. If the foreign spouse filed for divorce in Italy, it will be recognised in the Philippines. That is the easiest route we can take." Paliwanag ng abogado.

"However, kung ayaw niya, we need to make sure we have enough evidences of abuse at puwede natin itong gawing kaso sa Italya. I know a few good lawyers there who can help us build the case." Patuloy nito.

Napabuntong-hininga siya. She can't think of any abuses done by her husband to her. She can try to ask her husband pero baka hindi ito pumayag.

"Is there no other way, attorney?" Umaasa niyang tanong.

"What we can do for now is study your case and we go from there. Pero mas maigi siguro is if you can talk to your husband so we can settle it the easiest way possible." Paliwanag ng abogado.

Tumango siya at tumayo na. "Thank you for your time, attorney. Please keep me updated."

KATATAPOS lamang niyang makipag-usap kay Tristan. Nasa loob siya ng opisina ng kaniyang operations managing director sa Pilipinas. He thought to check around to ensure the operations are doing well at walang ibang problema. Their shipping business in the Philippines is one of the biggest in the country.

He planned to visit the hotel chain he owned after this pero mukhang kailangan niyang ikansela.

Tristan told him his wife visited a family lawyer. He instructed the bodyguard to not let her go out once she gets home.

Merde. Looked like she's going to war. Her body told him otherwise the other night. Biglang nag-init ang kaniyang pakiramdam nang maalala ang nangyari sa kanila.

Well, bring it on. He had a plan in mind on how to make her want him. He was too nice since the day they met again. Revenge is not something his heart wanted to do But she seemed to be pushing all of his buttons, he needed to act fast or he will lose her.

PAGKATAPOS ng kaniyang appointment sa abogado ay dumiretso siya sa isang sikat na boutique. She needed new clothes and thought to buy things for her son as well.

She felt like a VIP whilst walking around the boutique because of the presence of her three bodyguards. Nang pumasok siya sa children's section ay nahalata niyang kumunot ang noo ni Tristan pero hindi ito nagsalita.

She bought as many as she can for Matteo. Natuwa siya ng tinulungan siya ng mga ito na dalhin ang mga pinamili. Nang matapos sa pagsa-shopping ay dumiretso na siya sa bahay.

She felt tired but productive at the same time.

Dumiretso siya sa kuwarto ng ina. She can't let her know she was planning to annul Marco. But she was considering to tell her mother about Matteo.

Kumatok siya sa pinto bago iyon binuksan.

Naabutan niya itong nagbabasa ng mga dokumento. Her mother looked a lot better. She can still walk and do things as normal pero madali itong mapagod kung kaya naka-bed rest ito pansamantala.

"Ma, how are you?" Nakangiting tanong niya dito.

"Iha, good to see you. I'm feeling a lot better today. Mas gugustuhin ko pang pumunta ng opisina o umattend ng charity event kesa nakakulong dito." Reklamo ng ina.

Natawa siya sa sinabi nito. Her mother was also the carefree one. "Ma, bed rest nalang muna. I have an appointment with the doctor in the next few days to discuss your treatment. Be a good girl, okay. We want you to get better diba. I still want you to meet Matteo." Tinatantiya niya ang magiging reaksiyon nito.

Kumunot ang noo nito. "Matteo? Who's Matteo?"

Hindi niya sinagot ang tanong nito, bagkus ay kinuha niya ang kaniyang mobile phone at ipinakita ang iba't ibang larawan nila ng anak.

Ilang minuto bago naproseso ng utak nito ang mga larawang nakita. "Who is this child? A-apo ko ba iyan?" Garalgal na tanong nito.

Tumikhim siya at pagkatapos ay tumango. "I'm sorry ma for not telling you before. Inisip ko dati na mas mabuting hindi ako tumawag sa inyo dito, I didn't want to burden you with my problems."

Napaluha ang ginang. "Why ... Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi anak? I'm a lola!" Naluluha na masayang sabi nito. "Alam na ba ni Marco ito iha?" May pag-alalang tanong nito habang pinapahiran ang mga luha.

Napaluha na din siya. Umiling siya bilang sagot sa tanong nito. "Ma, huwag niyo po muna sabihin please. Let me handle this. I will let him know soon. Matteo and his yaya will be flying from Vietnam in the next few days. You will finally meet him." Nakangiti niyang balita dito habang pinupunsan ang mga luha.

"Oh iha, I can't wait to meet him! Can I speak to my apo?" Umaasang tanong ng ina.

"Of course ma, let me call his nanny kung ano na ginagawa nila.  Maybe we can arrange a video call."

Mas lalong napaluha ang ina sa saya. She didn't expect she was now a grandmother!
