Day 5
Dear Diary,
Paris turned out to be amazing after I got over the fact that I was supposed to be here with him. But there is so much to see, and so many cute little boutiques that have the cutest clothes. And the food, dear god, it is wonderful. Absolutely delicious. It has been hands down the best day of my trip so far. Cali is great. She’s funny and sweet and knows French too so I haven’t been stumbling around all day trying to follow French instructions that I can’t understand half the time!
I did think about him today a couple times. It made my heart sink every time I saw a couple walking down the street. Cali noticed I know for sure, but she never said anything or asked me what happened. She was content to know that she was helping me forget and making me happier than I had been in over a week.
And I was truly happy today.
