Readers POV
After the dinner had finished, I helped to clean up the table and wash dishes before bidding the rest of the Madrigals goodnight. I made my way to the room that I now shared with Mirabel, and as I opened the door my eyes noticed that there was another beautifully wrapped package laid out on my bed. Attached to it was a note that read,

"Since the nightgown you woke up in was actually a spare one of my sister Isabela's, I figured you should be able to have one of your own in addition to the dress I made earlier. I hope you like it!
-Mirabel"

I opened the package to find a lovely nightgown that felt even more soft than the one Mirabel mentioned came from her sister.

(The picture is not mine. All rights go to their respective owners. Like the dress from earlier, I wanted the nightwear of the readers character to reflect the overall look of the nightwear worn in the movie without looking too similar. If you wish, you are more than welcome to change the color to what ever suits your personal taste. )

"This is very kind of Mirabel, and yet I can't help but get the feeling that I'm being spoiled with all the gifts she's given me

"This is very kind of Mirabel, and yet I can't help but get the feeling that I'm being spoiled with all the gifts she's given me."
I smiled as shook my head in disbelief before I made my way to the bathroom to prepare for bed.

Slight Time Skip

After I got ready to turn in for the night, I relished sliding into the soft mattress and warm blankets. I sighed in appreciation of such relaxation as I thought,

"I can't remember the last time I actually slept in a real bed instead of the forest floor or a hallow inside a tree. I certainly could get used to this."

And with that, I began to drift off into a peacefully deep sleep. But little did I know, that peace would not last for the entire night.

(Just a quick FYI: Until I indicate otherwise, this next portion will be a sort of dream/flashback. With that in mind, let us continue)

A young (y/n) opens the door to her uncles house, which is on the outskirts of a small village. She had just come inside from playing with the other children who lived in the village and was looking forward to having a snack before venturing out again. She made her way to the kitchen, where she knew her Uncle would be during this time of day.

"Tio Emiliano! Tio Emiliano! Can I have an arepa, por favor?" She asked as she wandered into the small kitchen, where she was greeted by the sight of her uncles smiling face as he sipped his coffee by the open window.

"Si, mi sobrina. I knew you'd be hungry right about now, so I made you're favorite arepas just a while ago. Now come and sit with me while you eat."

"Gracias, Tio Emiliano!" The girl happily chirped before taking a seat by the window with her Tio.

After her parents had passed away of Yellow Fever when she was just a baby, he had been the only member of her family who stepped up to raise her. Even when (y/n) had first showed signs of her extraordinary power, he never turned her away or ostracized her, like some others in her village had done once they realized that she was different from the rest of them. He simply told her that her parents had given her a tremendous gift to remember them by, even though she had no actual memories of her mother and father herself. The young girl adored her father-figure, and as the two of them sat by the window and talked about random things, everything in their little world seemed to be perfectly content.
