He hid behind the wall as he felt the door opening.

She walked in as her scent alarmingly invaded his nose.

He knew from the sound of plastic that she had again bought gifts.

He heard the loud giggles from the kids, as a small smile rose on his face.

He heard her footsteps coming closer as he ran away.

It felt like yesterday when he had heard her for the first time in the orphanage.

She was singing a lullaby for one of the kids.

That kid had been bought after his parents had poured acid over him...thinking he would die...but the doctors could save him.

His skin burnt as the nurse rubbed the antiseptic over it, but his eyes slowly closed as he heard her lullaby.

He wished he could see her.

But he couldn't.

He was blind.

He just roamed around the city and sometimes visited the orphanage...he had no job, no food, not a place to call home. But he survived.

He lived for her.

Hoping that one day she would notice him.

He came back into the room as he knew that she had already left.

He turned around as he felt a small tap on his shoulder.

It was her. His hands shivered as once again her scent made him go wild.

She held his hand softly in hers as his body stopped responding to everything around him.

She pulled him with her as she gently spoke to him.

"I-um-would you like to come-to my-house...I have-something-to give you" She said as he looked confusingly at her.

He had never once spoken to her before.

He didn't even know that she knew about him.

He nodded unknowingly as she held his hand tighter.

They walked a bit, as she let go of his hand suddenly.

He stopped himself from letting out a whine.

Keys jingled as he assumed that they had reached her house.

"I was supposed to bring it-to the orphanage, but there is a lot"

He was even more confused now.

What did she get him?

She held his arm as she pulled him in.

She took him to a room and she put his hand on something.

It wasn't just something.

It was a canvas.

I huge one.

His hands roamed around it, as he felt something different kept in the corner.

Colours.

Paints.

 Brushes.

Tears fell on his rosy cheeks as he continued to feel the blank canvas.
