CHAPTER 1

You yawned, sitting up. "Can you go catch some fish, Glacier?" you asked, eyes still closed. "I'll gather wood to burn until then."

"Sure," she nodded calmly.

You smiled as your friend went out of the cave. Another day, more to discover...

Breakfast was over and you were walking around Lonebreeze, Glacier next to you.

"Wouldn't you want to check on Berk?" she asked.

"Nah," you said carefreely. "I think it's enough to go once a month and get stuff, right? Besides - we still have more of Lonebreeze to discover and the more I go back there, the higher the chance of me getting discovered."

You knew she rolled her eyes.

"You know you actually want to go back," she sighed.

"Maybe," you smirked. "But that's in the future. I'm way better off on my own right now. Not alone, of course, with you."

"But you wanted to help the others, no?" she asked, making you stop and look at her.

"Yes. But I can't help them if they're on Berk. I could help them fight off some guys, clear forests and anything like that. And until I know I can surely help, I'll stay here," you explained, patting her snout. "Now let's go. We still don't know what kind of dragons are in these forests."
