I can't sit still as hunters driver pulls into my parents street.

"You promise you'll come straight here when your meeting is done"

I ask Hunter for the 100th time, he rolls his eyes at me which causes me to gasp

"I know someone who gets very mad when I do that. Maybe the tables should turn ?"

Hunter just shakes his head and laughs pulling me into his side again

"I promise you soon as my meetings is finished I will be right here. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. Try not get too drunk without me"

The car comes to a stop. A wave of sadness hits as I wish Hunter just ditched his meeting to come with me but he should only be around 2 hours.

"Please don't pout baby, I will be with you as soon as I can so go enjoy yourself and try not to get into too much bother."

I perk up a little as I see my mum waving from the door. With a very quick but passionate kiss Hunter gets out and opens my door. I wave him off as he jumps into the passenger seat next to the driver and they take off.

"You are smitten my dear and it's lovely to see"

My mum smiles and pulls me into a hug and leads me into the house. We make our way through the house and into the kitchen I'm greeted with hugs and hellos from my family I realised how much I have missed them. I swing the kids round in my arms.

"Aunt bells where's Hunter"

My niece asks looking around

"Hey, can't you just be happy to see me ? He's at a meeting he will be here in a few hours"

"Yeah we are happy to see you but he lifts us up really high"

Cole and bria laugh at their children's excitement

"Yep, even they have this magical Hunter bug that you've caught. You look great he's been good for you"

Bria says pulling me into a hug

"Yep and to think I never wanted to even look him in the eyes"

We both laugh about the drunken night we met Hunter at the hotel. Eventually everyone settles back into what they are doing until my parents friend Mike arrives, Mike is just like my uncle he's been around since before I was born dad and him became friends in high school and been stuck together ever since, behind him follows his son Mason and what looks like a new girlfriend of his, I'm glad I won't be the only person grilled about relationships. I can't wipe the smile off my face as I hug them all, mason introduces Julie she seems very shy and polite, too shy and nice for Mason!

My dad calls us all out to the garden for his bbq to begin! I help Bria and my mum supply the drinks while everyone gets settled, the drinks flow as everyone is pleased to be with one another I feel myself constantly watching my phone waiting for a text or anything from Hunter. I hope everyone really likes him and I hope he loves them all. About an hour later my dad fires up the barbecue waits for it to be ready to cook on, I decide to join the kids kicking around a ball Mason joins us and it turns out to be me and my niece vs Mason and my nephew, Mason runs after me as I scream

"MASE GO AWAY"

I laugh as I try push past him his deep laugh follows me as he eventually catches me picking me up spinning us round till I scream. It causes everyone to laugh. I punch him hard when he finally lets me go

"You're an ass! You know I hate spinning"

I say frowning trying to be so mad but he just keeps laughing. As I stomp back to the table I hear the garden gate bang I look round to see Hunter walking through with Cole. My whole mood shifts

"Hunter!"

I rush to him jumping into his arms, his face cannot hide his utter shock at my behaviour.
