In this story humans know of werewolves and they have accepted them as long as they didn't harm them, but the humans have been given weapons and information that they'd need to know the difference between the normal wolves and rouge wolves.
Some humans live in actual packs if they are mates to wolves. They have the option to become wolfs like their other half if they choose to be with them. Same sex couples are approved of and male wolves can get pregnant.
The normal age for a wolf to find their mate is at 17. Certain ages can find their mates if they have already passed the age one finds their mate while their mate might not know if they are mates but they feel pretty comfortable with their 'soul' mate even if they haven't reach the proper age yet.
The Wolf Council is quite important to the wolf community and some of the choices that are being made but most things are done by the Moon Goddess.
