Endless Evasion (Bruno x Reader)

The Vision

Ok, so Disney's been a bit anti-Bruno this year, and Encanto's Bruno is one of the sweetest, most wholesome and adorable, and most initially misunderstood characters I've ever seen in a Disney film. So I'm going to try and give him some proper fanfiction recognition and write and x reader fanfiction that centers on him and use a bit of creative freedom to show best boi Bruno some love! (Apologies for any grammatical errors in the story, they will be fixed ASAP)

3rd Person POV

It had been a few weeks since the Casita had been rebuilt and the family Madrigal had been reunited with Bruno. He had finally felt like he belonged and had a place in his family. As he joined them for dinner, he had a feeling that everything was right in the world.

"Tio Bruno, can you please pass the Lechona?" ,Antonio asked.

"Sure!",He replied with a big and goofy smile on his face as he did what his youngest nephew asked.

As he held out the plate of delicious food, a sudden and unexplained shiver ran down his spine. A prickling sensation pulsed through his body, and his heartbeat quickened. In his startled state, the plate was dropped, and the contents splattered onto all seated around him. The conversation around the table stopped and all eyes were glued onto him as his eyes widened slightly.
"Could this be a sign? Of something big coming?" ,He thought.

"Brunito, what's wrong?", His mother asked as the rest of the Madrigals started to wipe the remaining food off themselves.

"Um........I........I gotta go!", Bruno whispered as he ran to his room. As he was halfway up the stairs to his tower he exclaimed to himself
, "Something this big means that I need to see it coming. If I don't use my gift to see whatever it is then the entire family and the Encanto could be in danger again! And not even a month after almost losing our miracle! No, I won't let that happen! Maybe if I can clearly see this future, then I can find a way to change the outcome!"

The circle had been drawn in the sand, the leaves burnt, and the vision initiated. Upon its start Bruno was confronted by a person he had rarely seen in any visions before; himself. His own form was standing in the middle of a clearing in the rainforest, with no one else in sight. His vision self walks until he is standing directly in front of his real counterpart. Suddenly, a shape darts out of the brush in front of his vision self and scampers around him until it comes to sit by his side. The vision-Bruno turns to the form and says something to it, but it's too hard for his other self to make out. His non-vision self tries to focus on the shapes lithe form, and as it turns he sees a long tail, dark spots, and piercing eyes before he is pulled out of his vision by the feeling of a hand on his shoulder.
