Chapter 6

Remus' POV
We watched Nikkie try to transform but failed again,
I said" Try again." Last full moon was horrendous, I nearly killed James. Nikkie groaned as he tried again, but this time completing the spell.
Sirius said" Bloody hell! Of course he's a dog!"
James said" He's so adorable!" He pet Nikkie's head, Nikkie whined and backed away from him.
I said" He's a fluffy-tailed, fluffy white dog. Of course, he's adorable. Now, change back, Nikkie." Nikkie changed back, groaning, I caught him as he fell, he relaxed against me." Good job, Nikkie."
" Bean exactly matches his animagus. He's a little Bean!"
Nikkie mumbled" 'M tired, Remus."
I said" Of course you are, let's get back to the castle and you can take a nap. You done an amazing job, Nikkie."

Once back in our dorm, Nikkie laid on my bed and fell asleep immediately.
I said" He's exhausted."
James said" Don't worry, we all were when we finally changed the first time. It took him about 3 more tries than me. He should be exhausted."
" Yeah, you're right. He's fine."

After a while, Nikkie woke up, his arms wrapped around my stomach and pulled me back onto him.
I said" Have a good nap, Nikkie?" He nodded against my shoulder, I wrapped my arms around his,
James said" See, he's fine!"
Nikkie mumbled" W-Were you worried?"
" He was worried sick!" I could feel him blush against my shoulder,
" Oh."
" Yeah! How ya feeling?"
" Okay." He nuzzled his face against my shoulder,
I said" Still tired... darling?" He squeaked, and fell off me, we all started laughing as he flopped about on my bed like a fish out of water.
Sirius said" You done, babe?" I growled at him, he hummed," Damn, Rem! I can call him babe if I want to!" Nikkie's head against my back,
" Why do you want to call him babe?"
" Because he's a babe! Ain't he, James?"
James said" He is."
" Peter?"
Peter said" He's not wrong, Remus."
I said" Nikkie, do you care at all about what they call you?"
He said" N-Not really."
" Really?" He shrugged and sat up, sitting half on my lap, I chuckled," Of course you don't." I kissed him, he kissed back slowly, the boys wolf-whistled at us, I smiled against Nikkie's lips. Then pulled away and threw my pillow at the main culprit, Sirius. He laughed and caught the pillow, smiling widely,
He screamed" I love you, Moony!"
" I hate you all." He laughed even more and walked over, he smirked then fell onto Nikkie, who laughed and simply laid squished by Sirius." Really, Sirius?" He smiled,
" I love you too, Bean!" I pushed him off Nikkie, Nikkie smiled at me and kissed my cheek.

Nicholas' POV
I laughed as James grabbed my hand and we ran through the halls.
He said" We're running from Filch!"
I said" Why?!"
" He took something of mine and I wanted it back... so I broke into his office!" He laughed,
" What'd he take?"
" My fanged frisbee!" He held it up and smiled victoriously, I heard Filch's yells down the corridor. I looked at James, he winked at me and we turned down a stairwell, then hid in a broomstick closet, we both breathed heavily." How are you, Nikkie?"
" You just saw me at breakfast, James."
" That was a bit ago." Then I felt something crawl on my shoulder,
" James..."
" Don't scream."
" James..."
" It's fine. Shh, it's fine. Don't worry, don't scream." It crawled to my neck, I squeaked and squirmed, and clutched onto his shoulders. He threw the... spider off me, I breathed heavily," You're fine, you're fine." I was shaking, tears streamed down my face," Come on, you're fine." He led me out of the broomstick closet, and we walked down the corridor," You all right, Nikkie?" I hummed, nodding my head," Okay..."

I was taking a shower,
I heard Sirius say" You should be in bed, kid."
I said" W-Whatever."
" How are your bruises healing?"
" O-Okay... kinda."
" Kinda? Let me see." I rinsed out my hair then wrapped a towel around my waist before walking out to him." Fucking hell, Nikkie, are you sure something's not broken in there?"
" N-Not... Not really."
" I'll get Lily to cast a healing spell, if something is, then it should heal it up quicker."
" O-Okay."
" Get dressed, see you in the common room." He walked away, I quickly got dressed, then headed to the common room.

I heard Lily say" And how'd he get this major bruise?"
Sirius said" He fell off his broom during summer." I walked in," There he is. Pull down your shirt." I pulled down my shirt, and showed her the bruise on my shoulder and arm.
" Hell, Nicholas! How are you still functioning?" I looked at Sirius,
" He has a high pain tolerance." I sighed, he did too," Can you fix it?"
" Maybe... I'm not sure, maybe you should go to Madam Pomfrey."
" No, we can't do that."
" And why is that?"
" She hates me, Evans!"
" Whatever." James, Remus and Peter walked in,
James said" Bloody hell, Nikkie!"
Remus said" Nikkie."
She said" I thought you all knew about this?"
Peter said" Uh, we do, we do, we just didn't know it was still so... bad." He gulped,
" Okay. Brakium Emendo." I flinched and yelped as I felt a bone heal, they all flinched as well." There... even though that is the first time I've actually had to use that spell and it actually do something. Like heal a broken bone. You've been walking about with a broken bone somewhere and- You lot are totally lying!"
Sirius said" He has a very high pain tolerance, Lily. Ask James."
" James."
James said" Yeah, he does, Lily. Hell, he got burned in potions and barely made a noise."
" Fine." Sirius grabbed my arm and pulled me up, dragging me up the stairs.

James said" How in bloody hell were you that normal while having a broken bone somewhere?!"
I said" I-I don't... I don't- I don't know." I started to panic, Remus held my hands, I calmed down.
He said" He doesn't know, James. Drop it." James nodded, I looked down, gulping," Come on, Nikkie, none of us are angry with you." He nuzzled my face with his nose, I looked up again," There we are."
Sirius said" Does it feel better now?" I nodded my head quickly," Come on, we wanna hear your voice."
I said" Y-Yeah. Yeah. It feels better now."
" Good. That means I can do this without feeling any guilt." He jumped onto me, I laughed and he just went dead weight on me.
" S-Sirius! Off!"
" You're a dog too, mate!"
James said" Fine. Sirius, off. Nikkie, down."
" Dogs hunt deer, don't they, Nikkie?" I nodded," Wanna hunt?" I laughed, nodding my head," Let's get the stag!" We got up and ran to James, he jumped off his bed and ran away from us. We cornered him, he laughed and winked at us as he grabbed both of us, we started pushing against each other.
Remus said" Don't hurt him, James! Sirius, you too!"
" Stop fretting over him!"
James yelled" Tickle beast!" Then attacked me with tickles, I laughed louder and tried to get away from him. Sirius attacked too,
I said" No! Hahaha! No! James! Sirius! Stop!" I laughed, squirming in their arms, they finally let go when I coughed after a few minutes. I breathed heavily, slumping into Sirius' arms,
Sirius said" I think we tired him out." He dragged me back to Remus and let go, I fell onto Remus' lap.
Remus said" Have fun?" I nodded, then shook my head," See, now they know you hate being tickled, meaning-"
James said" That's how we'll get little Bean's attention from now on!"
I whined" Nooo."
" Yesss!" I pouted up at Remus, he chuckled and kissed my lips,
He said" Even I can't stop them on that decision, Nikkie." I nuzzled my face into his stomach, he chuckled, and rubbed my hair which caused me to flinch." Nikkie?" I took a deep breathe, staying silent but keeping his hand on my hair." Something your parents do?" I nodded," Want me to stop?" I shook my head," Okay. Tell if you do." I nodded, he continued petting my head, my eyes closed-
