Chapter 5

I laughed as James and Sirius fought over a chocolate frog, they both froze and fell onto their asses. I froze too, then blushed as they stared at me,
Sirius said" He laughed! We got him to laugh! Yes!"
James said" Remus is gonna hate he missed that!" Sirius jumped onto me, I groaned,
" Laugh again!"
" Yeah, laugh again!"
" Are you ticklish?" He started tickling me, I laughed, pushing away from his hands, squirming.
I said" No, no, no! Don't tickle me!" They laughed, then Remus walked into their dorm. I smiled at him," Help me. Get them."
" He's ticklish!" He tickled me again, I laughed, Remus froze, I blushed even more and hid my face in his pillow.
James said" Hear him?! He laughed!"
I said" Shut up..."
" Nope!"
Remus said" Sorry, we've never heard you laugh before." He rubbed his thumb across my neck till I looked up, I pouted at him." Sorry, Bean."
Sirius said" Let's tickle him again!"
" No, leave him alone, Padfoot!"
" You never let me have fun!" He pouted, then sat on his bed," Fine." He snatched the chocolate frog from James, and took a bite.
" Have you ate today, Nikkie?" I shook my head, he sighed," You've gotta eat, darling." I blushed," Sorry." I smiled and kissed his cheek, he smiled," You've got to eat, okay?"
I said" I-If I gain too much weight... he'll punish me."
" You can't starve yourself. I accepted you starving yourself those days he told you too, and I wasn't happy about it. But those days have been over, and you need to eat, you've got to be hungry." I nodded my head," Okay. You'll eat at dinner, okay?" I nodded again, he kissed my head, I sighed, relaxing on my own.

I was eating, Remus and the boys were talking about their next big prank. Remus looked at me, he smiled at me, and wiped my nose, which caused me to scrunch up my face. He chuckled,
James said" Aw, he's so adorable."
Sirius said" He really is. If he wasn't so fond of Remus, I'd date him."
" Hm, yeah, if I wasn't in love with Lily Evans, I'd date him too." I blushed deeply, whining at the attention,
I said" A-Are you... Are you guys gonna do- do this a lot?"
They both said" Definitely, love." I squeaked,
Remus said" They're just joking. James is too in love with Lily, and you're not Sirius' type."
Sirius said" How do you know he's not my type?!"
" Because he's quiet and you couldn't stand it in a relationship."
" Fair enough, git."
" Yeah, I know."
Peter said" How are we going to get the firecrackers into the school, McGonagall checks our bags and pockets."
James said" But... she doesn't check quiet, little Nicholas Steele." My eyes widened as the three looked at me with mischievous smirks.
I said" N-No... No."
Sirius said" Come on, help us out! You won't get caught!"
" G-Guys... really..."
James said" Come on, Nikkie! One little favor!" I looked to Remus for help,
Remus said" You can't force him to help, James. We'll figure it out like we always do."
" Fine..." He pouted," Maybe I can get Lily to help."
Sirius, Peter and Remus said" She'll kill you, Prongs." They all laughed, I smiled at them,
I said" I-I'm already dead when I- When I go home anyways... might as well... have fun, right, Remus?" Remus' eyes widened, then he smiled,
He said" Yeah, Nikkie."

I snuck past McGonagall and rushed back to the boys' dorm. As fast as I could without tripping over my own feet. I knocked on their door with my foot, James opened it,
He said" Finally!" He grabbed the bag from me and ran to his bed, I smiled a little and walked to Remus.
Remus said" Have fun being bad?" He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close to him.
Peter said" And of course he stopped by Honeydukes!"
James said" Did he at least buy us stuff?"
" Yeah!"
" I'm fine with that." I pulled a chocolate bar from my pocket and handed it to Remus, he laughed.
Sirius said" We've corrupted him, boys!" They evil-laughed,
" Yes! We've corrupted the innocent!"
Remus said" They're idiots."
" Yes, we are, Moony!" Remus wrapped his arms tighter around me and we fell onto his bed. My eyes widened as I was straddling him, Sirius wolf-whistled, I blushed deeply.
" Go away, you perv!" Sirius laughed loudly,
Sirius said" But you love me!"
" Well, you're embarrassing Nikkie."
" Sorry, Nik! Could you sit on my lap too?" Remus kicked him, he laughed and put his hands up in surrender," Sorry, sorry, bloody hell, you're the jealous type. Good to know."
" Sirius..."
James said" First name..."
Peter said" Not pleasant."
Remus said" Orion..."
" Middle name..."
James said" Scary."
Remus said" Black..."
" Last name..."
Peter said" Petrifying!"
Sirius said" Okay, okay, okay! I'm done for now! Hell, rude ass." I laughed," He laughed!"
They all screamed" He laughed!" Even Remus joined in,
I said" Not... Not funny." Remus smiled at me, widely, I tried to pout at him but it was impossible.
Sirius said" Come on, Nikkie, call us gits! Call us asses! Something mean!"
" No." He huffed,
" Haven't corrupted you enough, then." I laid my head on Remus' chest, listening to his heart beat.
Remus said" You have a cute laugh, Nikkie." I groaned, then dug my face into the crook of his neck, he laughed," I'm sorry, but it's true."

I heard firecrackers go off down the corridor, I laughed then saw them running my way. Sirius passed me first, he winked at me, James next, he waved, then Peter, he smiled, then Remus, who took my hand and I ran with him.
He said" How was History?"
I said" Boring."
" Good to know!" He ran faster, causing me to run faster, we jumped through a window and ran into the courtyard, we stopped at the tree, hiding behind it.
" When will you get caught?"
" Probably in the next hour or so. Don't worry, we won't tell." He kissed my head, and smiled at me,
" What did you four do?"
" Oh... well, you heard the explosion, right?" I nodded," We put the firecrackers too close... it sort of went mad."
" Brilliant." He smiled,
" Definitely. You should've seen it!"
" I heard it."
" Yeah..." He smiled, sheepishly, then hugged me, I wrapped my arms around his stomach.

The boys walked in from their detention,
Lily said" So, was it worth it?"
Sirius said" Always, Evans."
James said" Yeah, always."
Peter said" It was fun."
Remus said" I hate them." He sat behind me on the couch since I was on the floor, his arms came around my shoulders and I looked up at him.
Lily said" So, Remus, will you do it again?"
" Probably." She laughed,
" Of course." James fell onto Lily," James! You git!"
James said" Love you too."
Sirius said" Disgusting, being all lovey! Ugh!"
Lily said" You're just pissy 'cause you can't hug him."
" Very true... but darling, I can." And fell onto James, James laughed, Lily groaned, and laughed.
" Funny, Black."
" Very."
" I hate them too."
Remus said" Thank you."
Peter said" Only hate that counts is Bean's. So, Bean, do you hate us?"
" Hey, that's not fair."
" Shh, shh, Remus, let the boy answer!"
James said" I wanna hear this too." They all looked at me, I blushed, then covered my face, squeaking.
Sirius said" Come on, Bean, answer. Do you, precious little Bean, hate me, James, and Peter?" I shook my head quickly, they all laughed in victory,
James said" The Bean has spoken! It is said!"
Peter said" We are liked!"
Lily said" Their egos are already too high." She laughed,
Remus said" They just got higher for sure. Do you hate me, Bean?" I simply kissed him, he kissed back then pulled away, smiling widely.
Sirius said" Why couldn't we get that kind of answer?!" Remus looked at him, he gulped," Does he have soft lips, Rem? He looks like he has soft lips."
" You have about 5 seconds..."
" To?"
" 4... 3..."
" To what?!"
" 2..." He got up,
" Oh, run!" Sirius took off, Remus ran after him, we all started laughing, Sirius ran up to their dorm." Bean! Help! Prongs!"
James said" We should make sure he's okay, right?"
Peter said" Probably..."
I said" Remus... he wouldn't actually..."
James said" No, he wouldn't. Stop fretting. Come on." He grabbed my hand as we ran up the stairs.

We got to their dorm and Sirius was hitting Remus with a licorice wand, standing on his bed, avoiding Remus' slaps.
James said" Here, take Bean for Sirius." Remus walked to me and took me into his arms, I yelped in surprise as he lifted me up.
Sirius said" Bloody hell, Moony! I get it! He's yours!" Remus blushed," I-I'm- I said that very loudly, didn't I?"
" Yeah, you did."
" Well... He is." I blushed deeply, Remus laid down, I straddled his stomach again, he sat up which pushed me down to straddle his waist. His arms tightly around me,
He grumbled" Yeah. Mine." I blushed even more, and hid my face in the crook of his neck. I dozed off-

Remus' POV
I grumbled" Yeah. Mine." Before I even realized what I said, the boys looked at me with wide eyes as I felt Nikkie doze off.
Sirius said" Did you say what I think you said?"
James said" Really, Remus?"
I said" Uh... um... I-I..." I gulped, then sighed,
" The full moon's getting closer, you're getting really possessive over someone who doesn't know you're a werewolf."
" I've still got 5 days."
" No, no, you need to tell him. What if your wolf wants him? Hm? What if you get past us, and go after him?"
" I'd kill myself if I ever hurt him."
" You need to tell him, then we can brew another animagus potion, he can be safe."
" What if he doesn't want to be an animagus, James? What if he doesn't accept me?"
Sirius said" He will. You accepted him, he's pretty open-minded, if you haven't figured that out."
" I'll tell him, I will. Alone."
" Fine. You can when he wakes up."
" Okay."

He woke up far too soon, he looked at me with a small smile on his lips,
Sirius said" That's our cue, boys. Come find us in a bit." Sirius, James and Peter walked out,
Nikkie said" What's-What's wrong with them?"
I said" I have to tell you something privately." He stared at me with wide eyes, he had the most blue eyes ever, a sapphire color." It's nothing bad, I promise." I could tell he was getting nervous once he gulped." I'm not- I'm..." I sighed," I'm a werewolf." He was silent, then he smiled," That's it? A smile?"
" What- What does it matter... What does it matter that you're a werewolf?"
" I could hurt you, I could kill you!"
" You won't. And honestly- And honestly, I-I've been hurt more by my- by my parents than you could ever." I sighed and hugged him, he giggled, and hugged me back.
" Hold on, okay?" I stood up, carrying him, he yelped,
" I'm too- I'm too heavy."
" Don't even think it." I carried him out of the dorm.

I walked into the common room,
Sirius said" So?"
I said" He's perfect."
" Knew it! So, you're in on our big secret now, do you want in on being an animagus?"
Nikkie said" An- You're animagi?"
" Yeah, I'm a dog, Prong's here is a deer and Peter is a rat."
" B-B-But..."
" Illegal, we know, but it was for our best friend, so... I ask again, do you want to be an animagus?"
" Ye-Yeah." They all smiled,
James said" Let's get started, boys!"
