Barbra Avery found herself in a London hotel room when an owl swooped in, carrying a message from her dear friend, Walburga Black:

"We need to talk. Do not go to the Ministry under any circumstances. Visit my house."
A sense of concern washed over Barbra. Surely, Walburga must have been aware of something grave unfolding, but what could it possibly have to do with her? Mrs. Avery brandished her wand, causing the space between buildings 11 and 13 on Grimmauld Place to shift. Building Number 12 emerged, its small wooden door expanding before her.

"Mistress is waiting for you," Kreacher, the loyal house-elf, bowed to the pureblood witch.

Barbra greeted him kindly, handing him her jacket before making her way to the living room where her elder friend often resided. "Barbra!" Walburga exclaimed, embracing her and gesturing for her to take a seat.

Kreacher served the tea, and Barbra finally voiced her concerns. "You had me worried r , Wella. What is the matter?"

Walburga sighed heavily, adjusting her spectacles before presenting Barbra with a set of documents. Meanwhile, the fireplace, which served as a Floo connection, displayed the head of Jonathan, Mr. Avery's accountant.

"Jo! What are you doing here?" Barbra inquired, her confusion evident.

"We need to discuss something concerning our families' partnerships," Walburga replied, her tone serious.

"Yes," Barbra agreed, ready to delve into the important matters at hand.

"My grandfather granted a loan to your husband's grandfather, amounting to 10 million galleons. Throughout the generations, they managed to repay half of it. Your husband, however, only spends 5% of his yearly income on his family, while the rest is distributed among the remaining members of the Black family as a debt to be repaid."

"Yes, I am aware of this, but what has gone wrong now?" Barbra questioned. Jo chimed in, "Mr. Avery was doing well for the past 18 years and even managed to pay off some of the debt. However, in the three months leading up to his unfortunate accident, the market took a downturn."

Walburga continued, her frustration evident. "And I wish he had informed me about this! I could have helped him."

Barbra's concern deepened as she asked, "What happened exactly?"

Jo explained, "When the market dropped, our previous business plans became ineffective. He mentioned having a new plan in mind, but he failed to communicate it or put it in writing for us to work on. We are now on the verge of bankruptcy if we continue following the old strategy and transferring all the galleons and profits to the Blacks."

"That's why I told you not to go to the Ministry. They might either arrest you or force you to repay the entire debt at once, resulting in the sale of your properties and the collapse of the entire business. You would be left with nothing," Walburga cautioned.

Barbra felt a wave of sweat and dizziness wash over her. The gravity of the situation was overwhelming. "What can we do? My daughter and I will be utterly lost!"

Walburga embraced her friend tightly, tears streaming down her face. "Barbra, Sirius and I have already given up our shares, but even with that sacrifice, things are not improving. I will speak with Narcissa and Bellatrix, I will try to convince them to do the same! I promise you, I will not let you come to harm."

The round mahogany table in Malfoy Manor summoned the remaining members of the Black family - Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Walburga, with Lucius Malfoy acting as their host. Sirius, who despised them, had chosen not to attend as he had already relinquished his share.

Walburga, holding a formal lawyer's paper, impatiently questioned, "So, what are you waiting for?"

Bellatrix let out a loud, boisterous laugh that reverberated throughout the marble-clad mansion. "Are you waiting for me to give up my million galleons? Auntie, please say something else," she scoffed, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "Just because she's your friend doesn't mean we should give her charity, you know."

Lucius gently pressed Narcissa's arm, silently urging her to speak. In a calm, steady voice, she replied, "I'm sorry, I can't do this."

Walburga stared at them in disbelief. "You own half of England! You have billions in your vaults! Giving up 3 million galleons wouldn't kill you or leave you starving on the streets! For Salazar's sake, have some mercy!"

Bellatrix interjected, "That's precisely why we need them, Auntie, to own the other half!" She burst into a fit of giggles.

Walburga looked at them with disappointment, continuing to plead with the last remaining heirs. She stressed the dire consequences that Barbra Avery would face if they did not offer assistance, emphasizing the possibility of her ending up in jail or homeless. But her efforts proved futile.

Walburga went back to her house , her eyes were watery and she felt very embarrassed from her friend , she relaxed at her office , which was her ancestors office as well ..

" there must be something I could do " she wondered .

She went looking through the papers and old documents, she didn't find something specific, she went upstairs to Orions office and showed a large dusty document, after examining all type of papers in the house this was her last hope.

She moved the papers one by one , until she saw " Black & Avery 1889 "
Walburga's eyes widened as she read the terms of the partnership between the Blacks and the Averys from 1889. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She shrieked, "Merlin's lacy underwear!"

The contract stated:

"In case the Avery member was unable to fulfill the debt, it shall be left under two conditions:
1) All properties, debentures, and commercial records shall be transferred under the name of Black.
2) If the solutions provided are not complied with, a blood bond relationship must be established through marriage between the two families to ensure mutual growth and benefit, whether it be financial or personal."

Walburga was stunned. It seemed that there was a way to resolve the issue after all. She couldn't help but think, "This may just be the solution we need."
