Ezra's POV

Kaci finally woke up and started talking to me. "So how did you get back to the Ghost anyway?"

"Kanan found me. I remember trying to get back to you guys but I was to weak."

"Well you're back now."

Kaci's POV

I leaned forward and grabbed his forearms. I went to kiss him but he flinched. "What?"

"Nothing."

I reached to pull up his left sleeve. "No Kaci don't do that."

I finally managed to pull it up to his elbow. In giant crimson letters his arm read 'MISTAKE'.

"Ezra, no. No this isn't true. Do you believe this?"

He turned away and looked at the ground. "You can't do this to yourself. Ezra! Talk to me. Please." I was choked up by a sob. I softened my voice. "Ezra please talk to me or someone."

"I'm sorry. It's all my fault."

"What is?"

"That mission where you were shot. I had a feeling in the back of my head that I ignored. I should have told Kanan. I'm sorry."

"Oh, Ezzy it's okay."

Hera walked in the room as Ezra started to respond. "No it's not okay."

"What's not okay?" When Hera asked the question Ezra pulled his sleeve down. Hera checked my vitals and left.

"Ezra you can't do this to yourself and you can't do this to me. You are perfect. Maybe not to everyone, but to me. And can I just say you're hot. Also if I see this again I will kill you before you lose a single drop of blood."

"Wow, harsh."

He kissed the top of my head an left.

Ezra's POV

I walked to the cockpit to go look at the stars. I stopped in my tracks when I heard Chopper coming. He was laughing to. I dodged an electric shock just in time.

I ran to the top guns, climbed the ladder, and sat in the chair. Perfect, I still have a seat in the stars. Only minutes later I heard footsteps. Then I heard Kanan, "Ezra come down from there."

"I just got up here."

I climbed down the ladder and when I made it to the ground electricity coursed through my body. I turned around to see Chopper. I kicked him away.

"Hey Kanan I was wondering if I could officially move into the empty cabin."

"Nice try kid."

"Come on please."

"Let me talk to Hera."

Kanan's POV

I wanted to let Ezra stay in that cabin, but I also didn't want to get my neck rung by Hera. I went to the cockpit to ask Hera.

The door opened and as always she was sitting in the pilot's chair. She landed the Ghost on Lothal. "Ezra wants to know if he can move into the empty cabin."

"But that's Kaci's cabin."

"That's what I said."

"I don't know."

"He's had a hard time without her. I say we let him move in their. Plus the fact he might not leave after dark."

"Alright, alright fine."

I went to find Ezra. I found him in his cabin polishing his helmet. "Well Hera said you could."

"Really?"

"Yep."

Ezra's POV

I was ecstatic to hear the great news. I grabbed my helmet, backpack, cloak, and I had found another cloak earlier for Kaci.

I walked out of my old cabin and went to my new one. There were hooks on both sides of the room. I put my helmet, backpack, and cloak on the hooks on the left side of the cabin. I then put her helmet and cloak on the right side hooks.

The door opened and Kaci came in. "Hey."

"Uh, hey. What are you doing in here?"

"Well I asked Hera and she said I could move in."

"Okay."

She walked over and pulled the cloak off the hook. "Is this for me?"

"Yeah. I had an extra."

"Thanks."

I started hearing scratching on the door. I opened it and found Ephraim. He walked in and jumped up on my shoulder. Kaci walked over and stroked his back.

I went to the top guns to look at the stars.

Kaci's POV

After Ezra left I changed into a pair of soft sweatpants and a t-shirt like I do every night before I go to sleep. After I was ready for bed I put my boots on the ground under my cloak. I was so tired I laid down and fell asleep.

Ezra's POV

I went back to my new cabin and when I did Kaci was asleep. I quietly went up to the top bunk.

After several hours of laying in bed I couldn't sleep.

Kaci's POV

I awoke to light footsteps in the cabin. "Ezra?"

"Karabast, I was trying not to wake you."

"Where are you going?"

"I couldn't sleep so I decided to go to my tower."

"Can I come?"

"I guess so."

He slid my boots across the floor and tossed me my cloak. I hadn't noticed before, but still had my sweatpants and t-shirt on. I pulled my cloak on and slipped my boots on. "Wait, Hera has a rule that we aren't allowed to leave after dark."

"Use the excuse that you grew up on the streets and you aren't used to all the rules yet."

"What about you?"

"I'll say that I needed to check on my tower."

We opened the door and headed out to the ramp. "Does Hera always leave the ramp open at night?" I looked at Ezra and he looked at me and pulled up his hood.

"Yes."

"Okay then." I pulled up my hood too.

We went out into the open fields. I hadn't noticed the rain and storms, until I was out in them. We walked for about twenty minutes, and finally we made it to a large com tower.

I followed him up to the door and inside. The first thing he did was look through a drawer. "What are you looking for?"

"You need a com link and I have one. Just needs repairing."

He finally found what he was looking for. "I left my stuff back on the Ghost. I'll fix it later."

A loud crack of thunder echoed through the sky. I yelped and Ezra laughed. He kissed the top of my head. "Why do you always do that?"

"What?"

"Kiss my head."

"Because, I love you."

He pushed me up against the wall and kissed me.
