Chapter 11

Y/N's pov:

I released the stair case and walked away, leaving him by the stairs, I knocked on my brother's door and it busted open, my brother ran out of the room and hugged me with full force. ''I've missed you so much.'' He said, ''You've grown, soon you are going to be taller than me.'' I said as I hugged him tighter, ''So, are you excited?'' I asked as I looked at him. ''About what? About the school or that I get to see my sister again?'' he asked smiling as he looked at me.

I just laughed, ''Are you ready for the magic to begin?'' I asked as I lifted my eyebrow. ''Yes, I am.'' He said and ran back in his room to take his rain coat.

''Alright, so first thing is your wand.'' I said as I read through the list of school supplies Francis needed, I looked around and saw a wand shop named ''Ollivanders''. ''Let's get your wand first, okay?'' I asked as I pulled my brother's hand. ''Sure.'' Was all he said and we went in to the wand shop.

As we went in to the shop, a bell above the door rang and a middle-aged man showed up behind the counter, ''Welcome to Ollivander's wand shop, I'm Ollivander, how may I help you today?'' the man said with a wide smile on his face, ''Hi, this young man is in need of a wand.'' I said smiling as I wrapped my arm around my brother's shoulder and gently shook him, ''Well, come forward mister.'' Ollivander said as he waved his hand.

''What is your name?'' the man asked, ''Francis.'' My brother replied as he looked down, ''Oh, a French fella.'' Ollivander said as he looked at me, I nodded and smiled at my brother.

''Alright, how about 14 3/4" Spalted Live Oak magic wand with green colored handle.'' Ollivander said as he took out a long box and opened it, it revealed a beautiful wand, ''Well, try it out.'' Ollivander said to my brother.

My brother took the wand in his hand and gently flicked it above his head, a blue light shone above his head and slowly landed on the floor around him, ''Looks like we have found the one.'' Ollivander said clapping his hands, I smiled at my brother and went to the cash register, ''How much?'' I asked as I took out my wallet for my purse, ''It will be 4 Galleons.'' Ollivander said clicked something in to the cash register, I happily gave him the money and smiled at him, ''What is your name, I may ask?'' he asked as he took the money from me and looked at me, ''I'm Y/N.'' I said as I motioned to myself, ''May I take a look at your wand?'' he asked as expanded his hand, ''Of course.'' I said as I reached in my pocket to take my wand, I pulled it out and gave it to him, ''Oh, a Sycamore wood with a dragon heartstring core, 12 ¾" and unyielding flexibility.'' He said as he looked at it, ''Very loyal to you, I see.'' He continued smiling, I just nodded, ''It definitely resembles your beauty and intelegance.'' He finished and gave me back the wand.

''Have a nice day.'' I said as me and Francis left the wand shop, ''Did you see what I did back there? Magic is so awesome.'' He said as he whipped out his new wand, ''Okay, listen to me.'' I said as I bant down to my brother's level, ''This is a weapon, okay? I don't want you to hurt yourself.'' I said as I took his wand. ''This is not a toy and you should be careful.'' I said as I gave it back to him. ''Understood?'' I asked I straightened my back and looked at him. ''Yes sister.'' He said sadly and looked down, ''Don't be sad, I just want you to be safe, now let's go and get you your books, okay?'' I asked as I held out my hand for him, he nodded and took my hand, ''Wait, don't you need books too?'' he asked as we were about to leave the book shop. ''No, I already bought all of my supplies when I was informed about my transfer this year.'' I said as I softly smiled at my brother.

''Okay, so, the last thing on your list is a school uniform.'' I said as I folded the supply list, ''I'm tired.'' Francis whined as he stood up from a park bench, ''It's the last thing on the list and the most relaxing one.'' I said as pulled his hand to the Hogwarts's uniform shop.

''I look silly.'' My brother whined as he looked at himself in the mirror, ''It's not that bad.'' I said as I went up to him and straightened his shirt's collar, ''I hate this.'' He whined, ''It's going to be fine, don't worry.'' I said as I looked out the shop's window and saw Riddle on the street going somewhere.

Once I paid for the uniform, we left the shop and sat down on the bench, ''So, school starts in six weeks, do you think that you're ready?'' I asked as I looked at mu brother. ''I think so, Rachel told me all about Hogwarts, the houses and studies.'' He said deep in thought. ''I should get you back to the orphanage.'' I said as I looked at my wrist watch, stood up held out my hand for him to take.

I tightly hugged my brother as we stood right in front of the Orphanage's metal gate. ''I will see you on the train, okay?'' I said as I pulled away, ''Okay, see you soon.'' He said, kissed my cheek and went in to the orphanage.

I watched as the orphanage's door closed behind him, I waved at him the last time and sighed as I looked at the building, the curiosity got the best of me and I looked at Riddle's window, but the curtains were closed, no surprise, I thought as I face the street and called for a taxi.
