Oesophagectomy
          All or parts of oesophagus ☞ patients are usually back to normal routine within 6-12 weeks

Onlanzapine
Atypical (2nd generation) antipsychotic, acting primarily on dopamine and serotonin receptors.

Open reduction (OR)
Broken bone is realigned during open surgery.

ORIF (Open Reduction and Internal Fixation
For stabilising and healing broken bones. 

Orthostatic Hypotension (Postural Hypotension)
Occurs when normal processes are interrupted. I.e., as per normal, baroreceptors in the heart and neck arteries sense lower BP when we stand and the blood rushes to our feet. These receptors send signals to the brain to adapt. However orthostatic hypotension occurs when something interrupts the body's process of dealing with ↓ BP, such as:
- dehydration
- heart conditions
- endocrine disorders
- nervous system disorders
- eating meals
- dangerously low body weight

Osteopaenia
          Lower than normal bone density, making bones more fragile and easier to break.

Otoplasty
          Cosmetic ear surgery to change shape, position or size of ears. Sets prominent ears closer to the head to reduce the size of large ears.

Oxybutynin
Used for treating sx of an overactive bladder, incl. sudden and urgen urination and urinary frequency.
